There's no pretending with PUFFY; they openly wear their influences on their sleeve. So many bands never acknowledge their influences, PUFFY has said this is Who influenced. Also, since PUFFY records mostly songs written by others, they always praise the songwriters. I believe this is written by PUFFY's biggest influence early on, Tamio Okuda who produced much of the early PUFFY. I discovered many musicians from PUFFY praising them. They have their heads screwed on right, those two! :)
You'll find a lot of that in their music. "That's The Way it is" has a riff from The Beatles' "Day Tripper." "Tomodachi" has a similar melody to Diana Ross' "You Can't Hurry Love." "Dec." has a similar intro to Harry Nilson's "One." Also, "Mogura-like" has a similar guitar sound to The Sex Pistols. I'm sure there are a ton more comparisons, but those are the only ones I've come across. I love Puffy, and how the make all the classics modern and Japaneesy, while preserving the originality!

Intro sounds like "Won't get Fooled Again" by The Who.
