  • Hole is an idiot. Its a molecule. Also she forgets we eat sodium chloride (table salt) all the time. The issue with splenda is it can harm flora. Plain and simple. Also she needs to learn that there needs to be an increase in the problem of one group of rats vs another. If one rat in the control group and and one rat in the test group both get cancer.

You can argue about flora as it is proven. However this is a side effect that bacteria can't eat splenda. They starve in your intestine.

  • @zoulkyud go ahead eat all you want then

  • Sweet Misery - 52 min documentary watch?v=P-usbGZez40

  • mmmmmmm sugar

  • Seriously.. I've just bought a yoghurt free of aspartame and I was like : «Nice I made a good choice».... but you won't believe this : even if on the front of the package it is cleary written FREE ASPARTAME, if you look in the ingredients just behind you notice that they replace it with .... SUCRALOSE. Which is the same fucking thing!!!! This is an outrage to the customers!!

  • @ledemiurge Complain to them.

  • Xylit (Xylitol) is also a good alternative?!

  • so equal and splenda are bad, how about truvia and stevia? is stevia actually really safe?

  • I had horrendous side effects from just a couple or three days of sucralose use. The FDA are 100% untrustworthy - don't go near anything they approve.

  • @MsOobii Good point. My whole family was poisoned with partially hydrolized vegetable oil in the 1970's. It was called margarine. It was offered as a healthy alternative to butter. But it was worse than butter. Thanks for the heart attacks, FDA. They approve the products of their friends, I guess. Government is promoted by Obama as a check on business. But it's worse than business. It creates corrupt monopolies that waste resources. Businesses must create value, profit, or go broke.

  • @DexterHaven49 Absolutely right my friend!

  • This girl's arms are too long and dorky. Put a shirt on, silly! C'mon!

  • @DexterHaven49 Thanks so much for your awesome, constructive feedback!

  • @DexterHaven49 Hey, don't laugh. it would help her next presentation. Along with less over-inflecting... I already stay away from those poisonous sweeteners. Sorry I ever drank Diet Snapple. Disappointed that Rush has one in Two if by Tea, his new product. Eric Holder should prosecute Don Rumsfeld. Since he's only good for hack political charges anyway.

  • @DexterHaven49 Get a grip of yourself, you shallow minded fool.

  • How the heck can they approve this sort of shit, but put a blanket ban on unregistered herbal medicine?

  • ohh she's explains stuff so dramatically. I want to do her.

  • aspartame gives me headaches, so does MSG. and these headaches can last for days on end

  • White sugar is a poison. Artificial sweeteners are atomic bombs...

  • Donald Rumsfeld was the CEO of Searle. Thanks; Donald; for the the extra brain cancer deaths.

  • This changes everything! Thanks Darron 445!

  • You show a product called Sweet Leaf in this video. What exactly do they do to make the green leaf white? Natural means what in this case. Certified Organic is the only way to go.

  • "WMD's are in Iraq, artificial sweetners are safe, and Anna Nicole married for love [grin}" - Shooter Film

  • Again that bastard Rumsfeld.......is this guy the anti-christ? because he's about as evil as you can get.

  • anybody stupid enough to ingest aspartame deserves what ever they're gonna get

  • Rumsfeld is a sick genocidal animal. This is only one of his crimes against humanity! He will be held accounable for this before a world court. The man got booed at the CPAC convention yesterday. Can you guess why?

  • @Wildrosestands

Isn't Rumsfeld a Zionist Joo pushing his bogus experimental swine flu vaccines ?

    Shalom

  • When I was diabetic I was fool enóugh to drink aspartame/sucralose/acesulfam. Sugar is much less dangerous for a diabetic. It took me 3 weeks to completely cure my diabetes type 2. How? I just bought everything eco and abstained from pastorized milk. Although electrosmog is certainly also ehancing and triggering diabetes, MS, ibs, lgs, ADHD and all the wonderful things the FDA/Monsanto/Illuminati loves...

  • @mozzrt illuminati.... *sigh*

  • TRUTH

  • Just the facts please.

  • Dear Lord! I'm so scared now!

  • it does give me sever migraines and I for one know it is definitely not safe to be ingesting into one's body

  • New tango cans have a slogan (the white cans) stating - "Tango orange: Turned me into a zombie" Had a quick look at the ingredients and hey presto aspartame was in it. Hidden in plain view... ;)

  • I've always avoided artificial sweeteners but have been using stevia for the past 4 months. I'm pretty happy with stevia so far and have told other people about it.

  • Everytime I have anything with Aspartame it makes my throat really dry and I weird feeling in my head. Not quite a headache but just a funny feeling. Both my Grandpa and Aunt died from brain tumors caused from Aspartame... Diet Coke, Splenda, ETC.

Aspartame and all fake sweeteners SUCK! Thumbs up if you agree

  • I am surprised all of the Aspartame and Splenda people aren't on here calling this all lies... they usually hit all of the vids...

  • @HerrSpieldose As of this reply one has been here and given the video a hand's down.

  • the poor in America have no access to stevia

  • I recently finished working in the child services section of a county council in South Wales. Mostly ladies who were very pleasant to work with, but so close minded! Watched pregnant women drinking diet coke, ignorantly poisoning themselves and their unborn babies with aspartame!! Handed out 5 copies of Sweet Misery and not 1 person looked at it! Told them to research it on the web, but not 1 person googled it! Too busy googling Avon!! God help the children!!!!

  • This video is freaking me out. I've consumed ALOT of aspartame over the last few years and I feel like I might have a brain tumor. I'm going to stop today. I wonder if Splenda is safe

  • @Srength4life splenda absolutely is not safe. it can do just as much harm. scientists found it while making pesticides. anything that is artificial just is not safe.

  • @kathrynmarks

In their natural form potatoes and tomatoes are both poisonous. They were bred into a different non-toxic plant over time. Wild carrots are disgusting. If you have a dog that too was modified from the original animal which would have been a wold. Arguing that man's intervention makes something toxic is not a valid reason. I am bitterly opposed to aspartame due to valid studies. Same with high fructose corn syrup.

  • @Srength4life No Splenda is not safe

  • Very interesting video

  • beware of AGAVE: it's not much better for you than high fructose corn syrup! Agave needs to be hydrolyzed so that the complex fructosans are "broken down" into fructose units or it won't be sweet!!

do the research for yourself! don't be a sheople, buying into the latest healthy food trends!

Stick with RAW honey or stevia =)

  • is aspertame causes all this shit why doesnt they ban it and make stevia in diet sodas its almost like they want us to die lol and stevia is 300x more sweeter then sugar i mean wat has this country come to!?

  • Between Aspartame and your cell phone ... say hello the Heaven you're praying for!!!!!

  • What else does ginseng...I mean Stevia does...Come on I know that out of the low calorie sweetener it is the safest but...An adaptogen it ain't.

  • Such a big deal is made on Sucralose having 3 chlorine molecules out of 23(omiting hydrogen as they are almost weightless). Yet HALF of Table Salt is chlorine. Net wight-wise, we consume a lot more chlorine from sugar than from anything else.

  • agave is the same as the stevia thing - they seem to be pushing that like an advert - seems a bit cynical and like a marketing scam. Agave is low GI and does not create slumps and can maintain energy without just sugar carbs - honey is also very healing and altho not the same as agave still useful and sweet enough

  • @bootes33 No, Bootes, I don't work for Stevia to push their product. Just trying to provide natural alternatives for people who don't want to consume artificial sugars. I mentioned honey and agave too! Thanks for watching.

  • @AbbyMediaRoots I wasn't criticising you mate for its a good article - well done for posting as its all important stuff - Just the only product pushed is a brand of this alternative that's all - but as i say thanks

  • @AbbyMediaRoots But suclarose isn't artificial.

  • @Ruttie2 Sucralose is an artificial sweetener.

  • @lbmuscle Sugar comes from beets. If you put it that way, stevia is also artificial. OOOOOH!

  • @Ruttie2 I agree. Sugar does come from beets. But once you alter something chemically, you change it's entire structure. This is the case with suclarose. Also, the processing of stevia is totally different from the way Sucralose is processed. Go to Wikipedia- it clearly states "Sucralose is an artificial sweetener"Common brand names of sucralose-based sweeteners are Splenda, Sukrana, SucraPlus, Candys, Cukren and Nevella. Why do you think they call them Artificial sweeteners? I'm A nutritionist

  • @lbmuscle No offence, but using Wikipedia as a truth source is pretty lame and unproffesional. Besides, the suclarose production differences from factory to factory. I agree aspartame is fucking lethal, but suclarose isn't all that dangerous compared to MSG and stuff.

  • @Ruttie2 LOL..ok

  • @Ruttie2 @Ruttie2 "No offence, but using Wikipedia as a truth source is pretty lame"

Use whatever source you want and you'll find the same thing. The sucrolose molecule doesn't exist in nature. It was an accidental discovery. It is produced from a starting point -> sucrose. It is a very fine product. It doesn't cause cavities in teeth.

  • very informative. I like it.

  • I'd hit it

  • YUCK

  • Monsanto is pure evil they should be burned to the ground

  • great video Abby, very well produced! Aspartame is in thousands of products most people are not even aware of! including all diet soda!! Lets all go out and eat some aspartame. I don't think so!!!

  • I am glad I have always stayed away of these "hype" additives!!

  • Nice Stevia advert.

  • Part of the de-population plan.Fat people go to dietsoda to loose weight and instead poison themselves.Keeps Big Pharma in profits...

    Ugly game.

  • unfortunately the us-law allows manufacturers to put really dangerous stuff in your food...

growth hormones and antibiotics in meat

    artificial sugars and flavours

    msg

and a lot of other stuff...

it's horrible - give me convenience or give me death - you guys get two for one in this case - you get both!

  • It's also in almost every gum product out there.

  • "Aborted fetuses"? The mice aborted their little mice kids, really?

It's called a miscarriage. I'm an apsiring biologist. And the risks associsated with apartasme.. to say they're excaggerated is an understatement. It's slander. Apartarsme I suppose COULD be dangerous, but by the way they mix it. It isn't.

  • daily consumption over a long period of time of a industrial waste couldn't be healthy if it tried.

  • Crazy! (but true.)

  • I am convinced that everything said about Aspertame is real. I am concerned, however, that this turned into an ad for Stevia.

  • @magnaz888

stevia sounds good - lamost to good to be true...because of the sugarindustry lobbyists it is still not allowed to market it as food or an ingredient in food...

  • I remember when the mail order gum balls first came out in 1982 then it was Superman Cocoa. I was 8 at the time and was hit with epilepsy shortly after.

It wouldn't be until 6 years later that it was found out that Nutrasweet was the cause. I Went off Dilantin in December of 88, which I really didn't need. I'm 35 now.

Presently If I take anything with aspartame or any of it's derivatives in say an amount of a small glass I get very dizzy and sick.

  • When I was around 16 I used to do house work for my neighbor. She had sugar-free hard candies in a bowl which I believe had aspartame in them. I noticed after eating two candies I got a headache. Because of that (and the fact that aspartame causes brain damage in rats) I never buy anything with aspartame in it. I'm 39 now and I'm glad I've stayed away from aspartame.

  • Wow this is going to change what I buy the next time I go to the grocery. Thanks for the information.
