if you have a copy of alan wake you can play the add on for free on xbox live. both add ons are about an hour to an hour an a half and both add ons are worth playing..

this was just a perfect music video. i also heard they're gonna hire a producer for the making of alan wake 2. whoever is a real fan of alan wake and passed the game you should go on xbox live and play both of the alan wake add ons which are, alan wake the signal which is what happens after the game and the second add on is alan wake the writer which is after the first add on i believe.. the last add on ( alan wake the writer ) leaves a good ending and shows an opening for a possible sequel..

@alanwakeup1 the sequel is in production there is going to be an alan wake 2 but the story writers stated they would not be using Alan as the main character and that it's not a prequal; so its in the air as to what exactly the storyling will be. Like most of us though i am waiting rather impatiently for the next game

as what comes to Alan Wake, I still havent had time to play it, hell except for Xbox Live Arcade games I havent had time to play any game yet released in 2009 or 2010...the one "good" thing with that you have more than 2 platforms is that atleast you wont running out of games to play :P...especially if you are not that selective what games you want to play and have wide "game taste"

And on PS I just plan to play all of it's exclusives, Wii and Nintendo games im not interested in, never was and propably never will be. So even though Xbox360 havent recently got that many exclusives compared to PS3 and the future doesnt look very bright (only Gears 3 and that new game from Crytek) It's still going to remain my main platform....hopefully Microsoft would wake up and try to support and publish more new IP's, get new franchises and not just focus on Kinect, and it's casual games

Because ofcourse there is no point for buying a console for just 1 game...anyways since 2006 I have always played most of multiplatform games (and ofcourse exclusives on 360, even though I have PC that is capable of running most if not all games released with full settings, I dont so much care about mods or if the game looks little better....So 360 is my main gaming platform, on PC ofcourse it's exlusives, RTS games and some games that are just better on it, like Dragon Age.

But anyways I have been PC/Xbox player my whole life, I really wasnt interested in Playstation franchises and games few years ago, but some time ago bought PS2 and sooner or later PS3, good thing I did, because otherwise I would miss many great games...So unless you have absolutely no interest whatsoever for Forza, Gears of War, Halo (and Fable II) and Xbox Live Arcade games like Trials HD and Shadow Complex, I would really recommend atleast giving it a try =)

@OnlyLifeMatters Well I understand that,if Alan Wake is the only game of the 360 exclusives that interest you...and the problem with 360 is that recently Microsoft hasnt published that many exclusives as Sony has for PS3,Microsoft just doesnt have that many of their own game studios,like Sony has, which is a shame....but thats exactly why Alan Wake is propably never going to get PC-version,I'm actually suprised that they decided to even publish PC version of Fable III,especially when Fable II

During four years his Xbox360 broke down three times and PS3 not for a single time. He might on the other hand just have a bad version of Box. I don't know. I'm happy how it is, especially I don't care about it anymore so much as I've began to hunt down the good old PS2 games O:

@Videogamer3692 no man there's no movie.. it's just a prequel called Bright falls that is about some crazy stuff that happen in the town a little bit before the game :P it's pretty good.. but when it end you'll probably want to watch the "What the Bright falls show" where some guys explain everything that happen xD it's just 6 episodes of 6 min each one :P if you thought that the "it's not a lake it's an ocean" thing was pretty confusing.. the bright falls is frustrating xD

This game actually might be made into a movie, or better yet, a TV show. Theres some downloadable content with the pre order version that shows a sort of interview with Sam Lake and the lead dev of the game (whose name I forgot (sorry)). And Sam mentions that they are looking forward to trying to get this game to other mediums, just like some of our previous games.

My reasoning is that since they did Max Payne, and that was movified. We may be seeing an Alan Wake movie/tv show soon.
