The best revenge is bettering yourself. I got dumped 3 days before xmas and it sucked. What did i do? Read some books on positive thinking looked inside myself. Started an excersise program dropped 25 pounds so far getting stronger inside and out. Not gonna lie i got my motivation from the breakup but im doing this for me. If someone ends a relationship it means they dont wanna be with you. Its best to let it go and move on

@LillianIrizarry22 Well by him joking about that, he's already established a major issue in the relationship....TRUST. Even if he never did cheat, it's always going to be in the back of your mind, "did he or didn't he cheat?" I don't know where you stand in your religious beliefs, b/c its hard to give advice to someone who is not a believer in Christ. But I will say this, since he dropped a bomb on you and said that he cheated. You drop a bomb on him and say we need to break up.

@LillianIrizarry22 Because he has established mistrust in the relationship, and no relationship can survive without trust. During the breakup time, decide if he is worth spending another 7yrs with. Really, you need to decide if he's worth marrying, especially since you have two kids together. But that's another issue. If you do decide to get back with him, and let him know that you will not toy with my heart again or I am gone for good and mean what you say.

Because the last thing you need is someone distorting your view of men - in saying "all men cheat" and "all men are dogs" and "men ain't no good unless they're gay" or if they're gay, they aint no good" etc. You don't want that in your spirit and apart of your personality.

It is an amazing NYT bestseller about the different ways in which we give and recieve love. Also more often than not we give love in ways we most like to recieve which may not be how our partner most feels "loved." Check it out friend, you may or may not take an amazing amount of wisdom and knowledge from it.

@jaydeman23 this happened to me. My girlfriend walked out on me just a week after i became spiritually "saved". I believe that God allowed satan to commit this act. When we ask God to make us more faithfull, we are really asking for trials. Trials test our trust in God, if we lean on him through it, it will make us stronger in faith, and for the next trial. i think God was telling me that he comes first. Lol funny you ask. We got back together for a week and then I broke up with him. I still love him... but he's turned cold towards me so now I've cut him completely off. No texting, calls or anything. Your right about talking to the ex about almost everything except for your previous relationship with each other, which only leads to frienship.
