It is not good to criticize the servants of the Lord. If He wants things to change, He will make them change. There are many scriptural stories of those who criticize the Pandas and are thrown away from Puri by the Lord. I am a a westerner who was raised a Vaisnava, and I know if the Lord wants me to see Him, the gates will open.

The Pandas are the curse of otherwise great Jagannath temple. They are worst fleecers and uncivilised to the point of being rowdies!!! Why no one rises this issue? They need to be disciplined and get rid of their ongoing fleecing right before the Lord. Shameless and unclean they are unlike in Tirupati.I did not dare to taste the 'Bhog' seeing the way they display the prasad- nauseatingly unclean.

pm4evr123 .Thats the problem with us Hindus. We remain passive expect things to change themselves by which time they are beyond redemption. I have deep respect for Puri and the master shilpis who designed that edifice. I only complain of poor maintenance and pandas behaviour which cvan be easily corrected.

I like your response. Iskcon devotees should never complain about not being allowed to enter Jaganath temple. They have a Jaganath Temple(with Deities) in Mayapur and it is so close to their Sri Chaitanya Candradoya Mandir that they dont even need to take a riksha there. It is walking distance. Srila Haridas Thakur, Rupa Gosvami Prabhu and other stalwarts(eternally liberated devotees of Sriman Mahaprabhu) showed the perfect example. They were very respectful of the pandas.
