@dangitstrung He had turf toe on both feet..I've had turf toe before, it drastically reduces your top speed and it makes it damn near impossible to change direction...and only had it on one foot. Turf toe is what made Deion say "fuck it" .

And you just basically said that Jackson's 35 yards on 9 carries (just shy of 4 yards a carry) is somehow terrible when u consider that Lynch had 18 yards on 8 carries. Here's my main point though, if Lynch was as great as many of his backers said he was, he would've found a way to have a run longer than 14 yards this season - because that's where he's at now.

Peterson is just dominant. Lynch is a man....Bush is a hybrid. If it were not for Marshall Faulk/Roger Craig and their pass catching prowess (which changed the RB position entirely) on out of the backfield, Bush would be a WR.
So I believe his numbers are good, he just is not that guy who can put a team on his back. He didn't even do it at USC. LenDale White did the heavy lifting between the tackles, and on the goaline (Pac-10 record for rushing TD's, breaking OJ's record).
Pro bowl level is much better than "good". Adrian Peterson is a once in a generation back. Lynch was the #2 back coming out of HS. Peterson #1. 3 years later...Peterson #1, Lynch #2.
I think the GMs are happy with their onfield output. Bush has had success but as a WR (92 catches as a rookie), a PR (2 PR TD's as a rookie), and 3500 total yards in 4 years and 20 TD's. Not bad numbers. Just not a pure back in the mold of Lynch and Peterson. McFadden? He has shown more than Bush already.

Peterson is immense, and he's not even an every down back. If/when this guy learns to block and run his routes even half as well as Bush does, he'll be scary good.

Peterson had a superb line his Freshman year - probably the best in the country. His Sophomore year they weren't very good but they got a lot better his Junior year. Peterson was a lock for Heisman that year up until his injury.
Anyway, a few guys made the NFL from the Frosh line and although young the revamped line has produced NFL talent as well.

why do so many people degrade lynch? He is an awesome back and one that i would LOVE to have on my team. To say that he is behind Bush is ludacris and he is a tougher runner in the between the tackels than McFadden. With Peterson it isnt really an arguement because he is the best in the NFL but Lynch is still a great back.
AD is the best of the bunch, but it's hard to compare them. Bush had the best college career, but has been average at best in the NFL. AD has proven to be the most successful in the NFL, thus far.

this video proves that Reggie Bush was on a whole nother level in college because all i can say is WOW...Adrian Peterson and Darren McFadden were both great and u can tell they would be great backs...Marshaun Lynch had great blockers threout but what can i say the to best in the NFL so far has been Peterson and Lynch but dont be surprised if Bush all of a sudden takes over...hes coming alive this year.....McFadden had 1 great game so far but hay he's stuck with the Raiders...better demand trade

Peterson may not have been better then Bush in college but he is BY far better then him now in the NFL, Bush hasnt shown me much besides the past couple games, nothing special at the RB position more of the Returner

can you even really call Bush a rb? When i see him score, it's from catching a pass. I'm just making an observation, I give him credit he is fast and very versatile, but is it more or does anyone else think he isn't built like a lot of the other RB's in the NFL? I'm a Bills fan so I have to say "Beast Mode" is #1

Only Marshawn Lych has shown why he's a superstar in the NFL. Yea Peterson is good and all but he has to play a full season if he wants respect and u need to play every game if u want respect around the league. Look at Favre and Manning. Lynch is the best out of all of them.

lol now u are changing from football to basketball. Almost every player misses at least 2 games in basketball. Football is different but i understand what ur trying to say. But Lynch is more of an all type of back. Like he's a power runner and elusive.

Peterson can't block. Did you see the highlights? Tavaris gets sack half of the time cuz of Peterson. Peterson is not a back that can pound ppl down like Brandon Jacobs. He uses his feet and cut moves. Lynch can pound through the 10 man box and get big yardage and can cut defenders.

no matter how u look at it lynch has done the most with the least. i agree peterson and mcfadden have more pure talent but peterson is an injury risk and mcfadden is in the black hole and cant do it all himself. and bush... well he never could run inside and he was broken in that playoff game thanks to sheldon brown. lynch and the bills look great this year and have a great future as a young team

why do so many people degrade lynch? He is an awesome back and one that i would LOVE to have on my team. To say that he is behind Bush is ludacris and he is a tougher runner in the between the tackels than McFadden. With Peterson it isnt really an arguement because he is the best in the NFL but Lynch is still a great back.

AD is the best of the bunch, but it's hard to compare them. Bush had the best college career, but has been average at best in the NFL. AD has proven to be the most successful in the NFL, thus far.

Jealous, I think not. Why would I want him, I've always thought he is overrated. If anything, I'm glad we didn't waste a pick on a bust like that. D-mac isn't on the same level as Peterson. Peterson has moves, D-Mac has speed and that's it.
