  • Spot on son.

  • MURDER!!!! You killed Sponge Bob!!!

  • AHHHHH ITS TOO SEXY!

  • Sound quality is rather good, but the quality of the cam is poor. Go and get yourself a GoPro HD (see my channel for some examples!)

    But nice road ;)

  • @nVidiaDevon Hi there. Yepp, you are right, the camera is kind of cheepo. Havent gotten around to the GoPro yet though. I have seen other films here made with GP and it seems like a really nice camera.

  • where is this road!?

  • @thelammingman Hi there. Please see my answer just a few comments down.

  • I used to own a 955i, it was a great bike: I miss it. I think this film is great. Well done my friend.

  • that was a great video and the some was awesome. i am buying a 98' 595 this week. only 6k on the odometer. how has the reliability been?

  • @mommathinksimugly + KingCast: thanks guys, appreciate the comments!

Reliability has been very good. I had two factory service checks (something with the ignition which never bothered me) + a check of the steering stem (no problem). I had a warped front brake disc (very expensive) and... that's it. Just ordinary service.

But: I have now sold the beloved 955i. I just got a Scrambler 900. Watch this space!

  • Awesome, awesome, thank you. I am waiting for a replacement engine on my '02 Sprint the dreaded crankshaft shatter. Meantime I have your video ;)

The Definitive Ode to Triumph Sprint 955i movie (with Powermax exhaust)

  • have u ever had problems with ur idle??

  • Hi there;

No, never. Its been steady as a clock. But then I have always been careful with service, including spark plugs.

  • great road nice bike .

  • Glad you like our export :)

I have a T595, the 955i was abit too pricey when I was looking for a bike. Gonna try and hit the 955i one day too :)

    Good vid.

  • Awesome sound. I just bought a 2011 daytona 675se and love it.

  • Ah, you are one lucky guy! Enjoy it and ride safely!

  • Great sound. Great bike. Great rider. Very smooth. Ride safe.

  • Are you sure the tacho was working well? it seems to show too high speed...

  • Hi;

The tachometer works OK as far as I know; the speedometer shows 10% too much (clocked).

  • Ha/ha..ingenious. Very nice. Where are you from ?

    Funny...great riding too.

    Europeans are always so pleasant...

  • Thank you guys (2manysecrets2, Mattmp36 and 955nsim). I´m from Sweden and the road is located south of a little town called Perstorp in southern part of the country. It's a popular road and summer days (and nights) you can see the locals wringing the necks of their bikes here...

  • Wonderful sound from a beautiful bike

  • hey i have the same bike! i noticed that its a bit bigger for a sportbike and that event the wheelbase looks a bit longer. could this be why i find it harder to wheelie?

  • @julingy Hi there.I have a 2002 daytona 955i.They are bigger than a typical Jap 1000 and are a little less flighty on the front end,so they turn in a bit slower, and they are a bit harder to 'wheelie'!..more weight on the front. On the plus side, this makes them very stable at speed and they hold a firm line through the twisties.Once you get used to them, they will wheelie...though nothing like a speed triple does, they are quite mad..and fun.Safe riding.

  • Great video, great driving! Nice to see someone that can drive fast and flowing without losing their head completly.. Those people often end up dead in a ditch, unfortunately. Keep it up and stay safe!

    Thanks!

  • Wow, thanks. I don't rate myself as a top rider so your comment is really nice!

  • magnifique video ;-)

  • Great video, Im probebly going to buy a cam and mic to record at my R6. Recommend anything? Maybe a wireless (bluetooth) mic?

  • Thanks mate. Antoine719 (below) suggested the GOPRO camera which seems like a nice choice. Check it out. Now, ideally the camera should have good sound recording capabilities but I am NOT an expert on this. Talk to the camera sales people to learn more. Bluetooth should work but I dont know the quality of the sound recording. Make a sound test with you phone, if it has Bluetooth.

  • I think the triumph not risk running into the fight of the superbike by money problems .. under the rules of the WSBK triumph can create a 3-cylinder engine over 1000cc 3 cylinders for this to be competitive, just would not be difficult triumph will have a competitive bike .. if ducati can creat an vtwin 1200cc ande win many fights whtih japonese bikes then the triumph with an engine in 1050 or 1100 would also get .. and it is always profitable to have a special engine on a motorcycle ..

  • Hey dude good video... really good safe and fast ride!! I respect the triumph but they have to make a knew model!! If triumph makes an daytona 1000cc similar to the 675 they will have a good market... the 3 cilinder engine have many potencial

  • Thanks mate, appreciate the comment! I can agree on the 1000cc reasoning - the competition in the business is murderous and you need to be at the front all the time. Triumph has the 1050 cc engine - that in a light sport frame should be fun! Plus all the fun electronics that are coming along, just look at the new Ducati Multistrada...

  • Yep, Sweden it is. As for the speedo, I have actually clocked it - it shows 10% too much so you are right.

  • Excellent result on both the sound and video there... Everyone who posts bike rides on YouTube should follow your example and get it right... Video was pretty steady, and sound was full and not distorted in any way... LOVED it! Also, that is a wonderful stretch of road you picked... Lots of "character" to it. That looks like the best stretch of road in the world to learn curves on! :D

  • @ilwzxvn

Thank you very much for those encouraging words! I am glad you liked it; makes me want to improve it, as I am sure it can. I am actually on the look-out for a new camera so...

    Thanks again!

  • Mile or kms ???

    Nice bike

Same the movie Torque with Ice Cube

  • Its km. As for VelkejMarv´s comment: I´ll keep in mind and try to go a bit harder next time! (And thanks for the comments guys!)

  • good sound quallity man, but i was hoping to hear her roar a little bit more :( you gear up at 8.000 revs, that's when the real roar begins :( but still great vid and a nice piece of road ;)

  • Good sound!!! One in one as mine with Bose)))

  • Good Job.. !

    Fantastic result.. ;P !!

  • Thank you, glad you liked it!

  • Nice bike and nice road, if I were you I would use another camera like the GOPRO and I would place the microphone at the rear of the bike near the exhaust and away from the wind.

  • Thanks for the tips. I checked GoPro out and it looks like a nice system. As for the exhaust location, well maybe worth trying. The induction roar gives me goose bumps though...

  • men var nånstans åker du? vet du var kungsbacka/fjärås ligger? där är det fin vägar om man kan göra runt en sjö som e tre mil runt, hehe

  • Too much fun to be had mate!

    sounds great, good job!
