  • Excellent piece. The interview with Professor Wolff is priceless. :)

  • Capitalism doesn't work in the US. i havent never work. ww2 usa bomb europe and japan down, so usa was only nation in the world.

Now is russia , china, brazil, europe, india, canada, japan, korea, australia...

  • Capitalism isn't the problem. What people seems to be unable (or unwilling) to notice is that the US of A hasn't been a Capitalist nation for decades now.

Ever since the corporate monopolies started privatizing the profits while socializing the loses the US stopped being a competitive Capitalist nation and became just another corporate dictatorship.

It's just that the Corps are being more aggressive now thanks to the fear opportunities 9/11 and the financial crisis offer them to take over.

  • capitalism in america works completely fine. its just that the people are fucking crying about the 1% is doing it the way it was done centuries ago

  • @tERtasdf You're an idiot. Less than a century ago the 1% was taxed like 70% or more. And there wasn't tax loopholes and corporations were regulated.

  • @wafcake im a duck

  • Funny how hypocrites use words like "redistribute wealth" to criticise, don't understand that neo-liberal capitalism redistributes the wealth from the poor to the rich.

  • Mark my words...Hang on America! We ain't done yet.

  • capitalism does and never did work!!!

  • America wake up ! Destroy FED and stand up ..

  • It is foolish, and export doesn't expand in the United States though it is weak dollar.

Because foolishness administers a company, salary down [i].

It only fights without economy vs. planning it because foolishness operates a government.

  • What we have now from what I see in the United States I wouldn't know what to call it, Socialism for the rich is the best I have heard. The big guys lie, take huge risks gambling millions, even billions then when they fail they just call up Helicopter Ben.

Bernanke prints more to do it, inflating the currency driving up costs of food, at a time when the housing market is still hurting and many peoples savings are wiped out. Inflation destroys empires, and everyone but the super rich who know.

  • Capitalism is not a fucking person, it is not a theocracy, it has no law that is immoral by common perception, and certain does not have propaganda. Everything thing can be corrupted, that is not the fault of Capitalism, but that of the individual.

The ills done to the economy and individuals are not visited by Capitalism, but by greedy people. Do you blame the gun when a man uses it to murder the other? Is the gun immoral for taking part in the act?

    Seriously people.

  • Several western European countries have shown to work fine with socialism.

  • @DelightfulJackass

First off, it's not pure socialism. Places like France and Germany are capitalist countries with massive government intrusion which is why they're poorer than the United States. I can't believe these Russia Today retards are bashing capitalism. Their entire civilization collapsed under the weight of socialism.

Western Europe is in far worse shape than the U.S. because of all their socialism.

  • @TimeWarp66

Poorer because of the taxes they have to pay so they can enjoy the benefits of social security, universal healthcare and a high quality public education system. Thus, they don't have to work 12 hour shifts every day of their life just to get by.. How the fuck do you think Western Europe has collapsed under Socialism? Your country is in worser shift and yet you claim this? They just don't want to be living under oligarchies like your worthless country or Russia during the 90's.

  • @TJPinoy

Though Americans work much harder than Europeans we only work 8 hour days and have the highest standard of living in the world. More Europeans come to live in America than Americans go to live in Europe.

Social security is a massive rip off. Socialized medicine is a disaster. I'm sure you have private insurance of your own.

Your welfare state is collapsing as we speak. Greece, Portugal.....etc. The problem with socialism is sooner or later you run out of other peoples money.

  • @TimeWarp66

Firstly my relatives live in Detroit and work 12 hour shifts. Second, social security is not a rip off. Presuming you\re against social security you would be against pensions for elderly, disabled or layed of persons? I hope not. Thirdly USA's HDI is ranked 8 below your "socialized" neighbour Canada includign Netherlands, Australia etc. Inequality-adj. your country is below basically N. Europe at 14. Lastly, it ain't collapsing? Ts' just having weight trimmed of the edges.

  • @TJPinoy

Ummm some people work 12 hour days. Most work a 40 hour work week. Funny you bring up Detroit. The most socialized city in America. Crime, violence, poverty. Socialism fail.

Social security is a master rip off. Especially for poor people because they don't live as long. The average social security recipient receives $300 a week. You would get 5 times that return in the private market. Not to mention the program is completely bankrupt.

  • @TimeWarp66

Poor people don't live as long? Yeah in the U.S but not in more "socialist" W. Europe. Claiming Detroit is socialist is like saying that Birmingham, England is an anarchist commune. It is obvious that socialism would not work in the U.S due to your prevailing Wild West attitude (yeah, and the Wild West was dominated by a bunch oligarch ranchers forcing people from their homesteads and resort to banditry/ and you knew how that turned out). Capitalism fail.

  • @TimeWarp66

That and im currently living in England and I haven't seen, heard or felt the system becoming suddenly bankrupt. Now i'm going to ask you this, if you're economy is so much better than "socialist" Europe explain why your country's public debt is 14 trillion dollars (98% of your GDP) compared to Europe's 10 trillion (which is only 80%)? The EU economy maybe sluggish but your economy is simply taking more than the EU on average loans to boost your growth.

  • @TJPinoy

The United States has oodles of socialism too. England, under it's conservative government has taken drastic austerity measures.

Now let's get our definitions straight. England is a capitalist country. It has most socialism within it than the United States, but is still predominantly capitalist. If it weren't you wouldn't be typing responses on your computer, you would be in a gulag eating twigs.

  • @TimeWarp66

    *more socialism

  • @TimeWarp66

The oodles? more like twinkles. England's conservative government has taken austerity measures, it

has not revamped the system and is going to lift those measures once the economy regains pre-crisis momentum. My home Australia has halted the crisis using stimulus packages in the same methodical sense as China which unlike your country was a total sucess. state (a Socialist invention)

  • @TimeWarp66

Now get this straight, Britain is a market economy that is moderately regulated and taxed to maintain its institutions and especially its welfare state (a Socialist invention). If it wasn't for Marx having a computer would have been a fantasy whilst you worked in a sweatshop for 5 dollars an hour as your boss sits his arse on a golden throne. Institutional racism and sexism would remain and you would be fired the moment you called sick. You'd likely be a prostitute to just survive.

  • @TJPinoy

What a massive crock of Liberal bullshit. Marxism is responsible for the creation of the computer!?!?!?

So Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are government bureaucrats?

You think that's what bosses do? Sit around and do nothing while there workers work!?!?! Have you ever had a job? Your boss is working twice the hours you are, and usually without profit for the first 2 years of business. Get your head out of your ass.

  • @TimeWarp66

No, Marx was responsible for giving some basic labor protection laws so you do not have to work at a ridiculously low wage for basically over half a day. You should be thankful for him that you can earn the money that you "deserve" so you can be able to buy a computer. Also yes, I do have a job and my boss isn't working at all for I've never seen him. If you want to live in a laisez-faire economy be my guest. Otherwise I suggest you use your brain instead of your balls when thinking

  • @TJPinoy

No, free market capitalism and competition are what increased working conditions. Not Karl Marx or government regulations.

Type in Milton Friedman or Peter Schiff here on youtube, if they can't debunk your silly leftist ideas, theirs no hope for you.

  • @TimeWarp66

What a load of bullshit, it is government intervention, restrictions and the fusing of Socialist systems into a market based economy that has brought working conditions. If it wasn't for these factors you would be carrying the feet of an oligarch on your back whilst trying to get him is salada palate. Competition can only be insured and maintained by careful intervention by governing forces or else it would be monopolized and detracted into plutocratic rule.

  • @TimeWarp66

I don't need to learn about either of them. I've read their essays and saw at least Friedman debate whilst sitting on the lounge. As I am an advocate of the Keynesian and Frieburg school economics I suggest you at least read Keynes writings in return. Marx intended for his theories to be adapted and modified and not dogmatically followed as he knew to well the disasters it would bring. Your ludicrous neo-liberal ideas on socio-economics don't work because they are not sustainable.

  • @TJPinoy

Even Keynes laughed at Marx. And Keynes has been proven wrong consistently for the last 80 years. We tried a Keynsian stimulus package(And don't tell me it wasn't big enough) and we're at over 9% unemployment.

Freedom and Capitalism are sustainable. Socialism is not. As seen in Greece, Portugal, and now Italy.

  • @TimeWarp66

You are anti-Keynesian despite the fact it was Keynesian economics that stunted the impact of the Great Depression and contributed to your country's boom after the War. Your nation's stimulus is the major factor in increasing consumer confidence and in fact has risen your gdp by 5% on average quarterly. Socialism along with any economic system is adaptable and your moronic ideas on Macroeconomics is detestable.

  • @TimeWarp66

Also it is Keynesian policies and stimulus that has sustained the high to average levels of economic growth as seen in China, Russia, India, Australia, Brazil and many other countries in Latin America and Asia whilst austerity has led to American and European economies to achieve only minimal to no growth at all. I suggest you get some glasses because its apparent your understanding of the wider economic world is appalling.

  • @TJPinoy

    ARE YOU INSANE???

What austerity measures? We have a 15 trillion dollar deficit and GROWING. We've cut nothing! Greece, Italy, Portugal have all collapsed under massive spending and welfare state socialism! China in many ways is more capitalist than we are.

  • @TimeWarp66

Greece is suffering a depression while Italy and Portugal only have stagnant growth, because of hyper-inflation. You fail to appreciate the fact that this crisis originated in Wall-streetso you're either being utterly pragmatic or just really misinformed. The U.S Federal government has been expanding jobs whilst most of the State Gov. have been sacking state employees. Economically I see no change but politcally your country is getting more centralized.

  • @TimeWarp66

China is state capitalist with a socialist orientated market economy with over half of its private sector workers being employed by multinational corporations. Mining, Shipping, Gas, Oil, Power and most of its financial sector is state-owned. State industry in china accounts for 40% of its GDP whilst the U.S economy is nearly entirely dominated by corporations. I would rather have the government controlling the corporations instead of the corporations controlling the government.

  • @DelightfulJackass Yup, especially with economic decline and higher taxes.

  • @DelightfulJackass not as well as america before lobbyist corruption. Several European countries have also shown unemployment, when America thrived.

  • Capitalism is a system like all others - with propaganda and fanatic defenders. USA people have brainwash like all others - scary commies, scary socialist, scary dictators - WE are the best:) American ople are funny, and creepy..

  • This guy is absolutely right. Capitalism was used in 18th-20th century England and America mostly. It did produce massive growth in corporations but also in corruption . A laissez-faire economy will always have corruption as business will tend against consumers and influence laws. Workers had to fight for their rights. Ford motor co hired thugs to beat up labor leaders working for them 1920s-30s.

Also advances in technology, medicine etc. make this mostly obsolete.

  • @tmmy773 ...also, capitalism was used in Germany 1920s-30s

  • You, like so many people don't seem to understand what Capitalism is. Also, seem to follow them in believing some of the socialist nonsense that they love. Capitalism is the best choice I know of if you want freedom.

What we have now is not free market, fair capitalism, its closer to Fascism and moving toward Communism. Bailouts, lists of regulations that require years to understand, subsidies, and even nationalization! R Paul 2012

  • @Martial024 i would think capitalism will always tend to treat workers badly. Do you like the 40 hr work week? Thank Labor-activists (socialists) Do you like having SSI and medicare? Thank FDR. Do you like having safe cars and food? Thank progressive leaders...etc i can go on. Capitalism can work if it is controlled and monitored...and socialism can only work if it doesn't lead to communism (like it works in Sweden) There is no perfect system we need a balance and also with libertarianism.

  • dicatorship's coming to america via the MARK OF THE BEAST

  • @MrViTopol I think that's why states like California banned them from public places. Actually I recently found out that if you own a business and pay 7-8 thousand a year to allow smoking in your establishment, it's still legal. But that backfired on the politicians that thought they'd make so much revenue from it, so since it didn't work, they just tax cigarettes at a higher rate than most other states.

  • capitalism is great, but we're not doing it right. Free market capitalism is strong, but our government is intervening too much. End the wars, end the fed, allow the capital to come back, shrink the entitlement system and the republic will be restored.

  • @goshinbi44 Capitalism was rigged from the start...its whole idea is dependent on heavy governtment intervention (military conquest of rescources, lawmaking, bailouts). State takes the risks and private capitalists take the profits..leaving 99% to do all the work and 1% to reap all the friuts of their labour.

  • @daveruda Explain to me how Capitalism is dependent on war and bailouts, and please tell me how bailouts or Quantitative Easing is Capitalism?

If anything smells a little Socialistic, or Communist. If it were truly Capitalism those companies would have gone bust, the Federal Reserve wouldn't be issuing so many dollars out of thin air (If they can't borrow it). They would be using honest credit, or CAPITAL, not using other peoples money to fix their own problem. They would fail, no bailout.

  • @Martial024 you nailed it brother, letting weak companies fail is capitalism, funding weak companies that shouldn't be around is socialism for those whose fortunes are on the line. WEAK COMPANIES MUST VANISH, SO THAT NEW INNOVATIVE AND STRONGER COMPANIES CAN EMERGE; ONES THAT ADAPT TO OUR EVER CHANGING WORLD

  • need a new system!!!

  • "Capitalism doesn't work in the US?" We'll never know until we get rid of the fascist, crony-capitalist system we currently have. This should be obvious to all. It isn't "private enterprise" if you are bailed out or even guaranteed bailouts by taxpayers. FDIC, TARP, Social Security, on and on. Tell us how much you think we need these things all you like, but don't call it capitalism.

  • Why do all of you shills continue to call it quantitative easing? Call it what it is: I-N-F-L-A-T-I-O-N

  • Did I just hear this guy advocate socialism as a response to the current state of the world economy? Sigh.

  • @craigslistflow It is nice to hear the truth about Marx. He was a Loser just like the modern day democrate.

  • @redpillreality Capitalism doesn't exist in America. The central bank is a form of central planning through price fixing. Capitalism has to be organic. If it weren't for the central bank do you think politicians would be able to give the rich these advantages? The economy you're proposing is the exact problem as it allows very few people to make decisions for the whole which will always lead to corruption. The only way to stop corruption is to decentralize.

  • scarcity > exchange > money > greed > various political/economic systems > corruption and totalitarianism

Make everything abundantly accessible using the technology we have today. Simple.

  • Capitalism is heading the same way as communism did Soviet. Resource based economy is a better alternative to both

  • If americans could live abroad without paying taxes you would have a lot less problems, its anti democratic to act like the state owns people.

  • This guy is a lunatic!!! Capitalism created the greatest country and economy we have ever seen. And suddenly it doesn't work?

  • @Bellita1 In case you missed it , capitalism failed in 2007. I remember friends of mine predicting its demise back in the eighties, and sure enough...

  • @geffel And socialism failed in Greece, Portugal, and soon Spain, and Italy. Communism failed in the late 80's and never worked in the first place. China is now based on a Capitalism economic model and it is doing great. So you are wrong saying it failed. It has had it's ups and downs but it never failed like the others.

  • @Bellita1 I don't think it ever really worked for most Americans. It is a great system for rich people, A.K.A 10% of Americans?

  • @CuteSheeps Yeah, it never worked for the middle class. They are suffering so badly. You are a fucking loser who can only focus on how much other people have and you don't appreciate the things you have.

  • I refuse to watch any video that has a commercial in front of it

  • ZEITGEIST NOW!

  • 3 Words: Resource Based Economy...

  • @ah1rooivalk No thanks. Resource economy is central planning which never has and never will if you want prosperity and freedom. The U.S. is not free market capitalism and hasn't been for a hundred years. It is a Keynesian, welfare, corporatist economcy. Huge difference.

  • this guys a commi..Reason why our economy isnt working is bc we have a socialist president. We survived 300 years under capitalism. Fuck that Obama

  • Please check out all these things on youtube the anwers are all there,if you dont act very soon America will be lost forever and you will be subservant to them, maybe a chip in your hand, dont believe it can happen ,see Linsey Williams on Alex Jones show and .Jessie Ventura.Dig in and find out what their up to you will be shocked, find out what they own,who they control, who owns Israel, how much America gives Israel each year, its your country protect it , your last chance, good luck with it.SEE BELOW

  • The jewish money lenders have controlled world events for years, they own the FED wont let America audit its books, its a privat company got sod all to do with government, loans 2.3 trillion dollars to world banks owned by The Rothschild group and dont tell the USA government until they make point of asking, prints ths USA's money. They got the Fed sanctioned during the depression since 1913 the doller had lost 95% of its value, they promissed no more depressions, they need to go to save the USA,

  • The man is basically right but he knows that Rothschild and co (see youtube) are running the world economically ,all thats happened has been planed by the elite.I was surprised that the USA has managed to keep a credit rateing I was sure the elite wanted to bring in another currancy maybe attatched to oil as the elite own all the oil. They will defuse all arab oil so China has none .Then whaen America needs oil badly they will open the non tapped Alaskan oil field the biggest in the world

  • it doesnt take a brain to realize how biased RT is

  • Since when was keynesian capatilism? The US has not been capitalist for a while now.

  • lack of credability of buisnesses and dishonesty is the problem not capitalism.

  • Capitalism is institutional slavery

  • Capitalism is institutional slavery !!!

  • @Bernd1964 You bring troops back where will they go? Just add more to the unemployment. Its sad that the majority of the homeless are usually war veterans

  • Okay, let's add this definition to the dictionary:

Free Market - n. The latest in a line of religious beliefs, often repeating one-liners such as 'The hand of the market will correct everything.' Followers of said system believe that no government intervention should be allowed whatsoever, but what many fail to realize, is that over the past century, the business owners have BECOME government itself.

  • @RemoveYourChains

Government regulation is a joke. Seriously, I mean, who is regulating the government regulation? For way too long, Personal responsibility has been passed to government to take care of us while Americans has been either too comform to take care for themselves or the govt forces us to take care of our own personal lives in which allowed the Federal government to do whatever they want right in front of our eyes.

  • @b07rivera your absolutely right

  • The cobal or Builderburg which ever you want to call them really like the China model government now because it has a built in method of controling the people and then it also has a robust capitaistic economy. I know, I have been there many times. Most manutacturing in China is privately owned and operated. Does this ring a bell? Yes, capitalism. The kids of the Chinese capitaist go to college in the USA. Thats right, free world travel ! Wow !

  • Nobody owes you anything but what you earned honestly, and deserve. And nobody should deprive you of what you earned. Before the Civil War there were no taxes as we have them today. The revenues came from duties paid by those who imported goods from abroad for be sold here. But, schemers changed all that SO THEY COULD CHANGE USA INTO A TAX SLAVE. The biggest tax is inverted. The IMF gets to spend the first counterfeits dollars before they inflate. So the IMF and pals get rich, not us.

  • This is not a democracy, This is a republic. We elect our dictators

  • this guys an idiot, it aint capitalism thats fucking us, it the fed and gov. hand and hand giving our future away to the corperations, welcome to surfdom;;; enjoy

  • @collapseprep101 No it is capitalism. The real life manifestation of it outside of pure free market theory. This is what happens when time goes on and human nature (a yet to be calculated variable) mixes in with the the theory of capitalism. This is definitely not to say all capitalist societies, just in the context of the USA today, then yes. Whereas if you look at places like Germany, New Zealand, Australia and China, capitalism has manifested differently because of their own context

  • Enemy of Greece, Europe & America ---- Jew

  • they not from all over the world you stupid ass russian loving bitch!.. these hate europa & america, when will yous idiots see this?

  • your voice is annoying!

  • The USA does not have a Capitalist System. The current model is Fascist Corporatism. The USA had a thriving Capitalist System prior to the formation and empowerment of the so called Federal Reserve, which thru inflation and deflation has contributed to the current mess. De-Industrialization thru so called "Free Trade" is also a factor. As for taxation, I like the Russian practice of a very fair flat 10% Income Tax.

  • @jwc00789 You are one of the few that are actually thinking. :)

  • @jwc00789 wow! See, this is what people need to hear!

  • If anybody believes that the unemployment rate is 9.1% then I have a bridge to sell you. The real rate is closer to 20%. BTW if it were not for the Tea party Obama would have spent even more money. Capitalism works the problem is that the government doesn't allow a free capalitist economy any more. Read about the principals of our founding fathers and understand your history. Capitalism is not the problem government is the problem. Even China gets it SOCIALISM DOESNT WORK!!!!

  • You cant claim capitalism doesnt work if we've never really had it

  • @MikeEmery9 Keep telling yourself that. Meanwhile, people in the real world will fight the revolution for you.

  • @Slimsoj Way to miss the point

  • @MikeEmery9 Am I? You're delusional. Real capitalism? This is as real as it gets. Your idea of capitlaism is a fable.

While you're waiting for "real" capitalism to set in, people around you will take to the streets demanding a decent pay and afordable living.

  • @Slimsoj You don't 'demand' a decent pay and affordable living, you earn it. This is what the lefties don't understand. It's so easy for them. Just get the right guy into office (they said that about Obama) and it will be sunshine and lollipops. No! Wages can only rise by increased capital investment in a well adjusted production structure. This is why Chinese wages have been rising fast, because of foreign capital investment. For that to be the case in America, the market must be liberated.

  • @truevoice08 What would the wages be for americas coalminers, for example, if they didn't mobilize, forming unions, demanding better working conditions and better pay! Lefties? Are you one of those Wallstreet son's of bitches who should have their heads cut off?

  • @Slimsoj It depends on the degree to which competitors can bid up wages to marginal productivity levels. That of course can only happen insofar as the market is free. Unions force wages above productivity levels, prevent returns on saving and investing. Unions are basically tapeworms on the economy. Unions destroyed GM, Chrysler and almost destroyed Ford. Businesses outsource to China because of they get strangled by unions in the US. You sound hostile.

  • @truevoice08 Fuck off you fucking yuppie scum. You wan to play with the white shue boys, is that it? "Greed is good." Fuck you!

  • @Slimsoj You seem very offended by what I said. I don't want to play the inflationary finance of the 'white shue boys' as Gerald Celente would say. I want to reform the fractional reserve banking system into a 100% reserve banking system so that it will be impossible to have a boom-bust cycle. Implied in that solution is the abolition of the Federal Reserve. I don't support the status quo that's why I advocate capitalism. I hope you can be open minded enough to learn as I did.

  • @Sivels as a capitolist or as a human being and what comes first profit or people?

  • @romara37 Profits come from enriching the lives of people,if they didn't enrich people's lives then people wouldn't give them their money. There are however some shit birds out there that don't want to make profits by enriching peoples lives so they use government coercion to eliminate their competitors.

  • @dirtbagstatus most of those shit birds are teaching business ethics 101.

  • @romara37 denying a human being profit is denying him/her life. Profit is good because profit is what sustains your life.

  • @Sivels In the beginning of time there was a big bang, then there was profit! How clueless can one be..

  • @Slimsoj "how clueless can one be" Great argument Einstein. Now go back into your corner.

  • @Sivels I see the irony escapes you. Read it again, "Einstein".

  • @Slimsoj Please define profit, retard.

  • inom traditionell nationalekonomisk teori en verksamhets vinst (resultat) efter att kostnaderna för alla produktionsfaktorer har dragits från bruttoinkomsten

@Sivels The result of a business earnings after all the costs of productional factors have been subtracted from the income.

  • @Slimsoj that would be monetary profit, profit can came in other forms and shapes as well, for example emotional gain. Everytime you make a decision you're most likely seeking some kind of profit, not just monetary profit. I see you live in Sweden, Profit is not evil, just because of what politicians, media and other control-freaks are telling you.

  • @Sivels There is no such thing as emotional profit. The word is reserved for national economics.

  • @Slimsoj The word profit is also defined as: advantage; benefit; gain.

  • Socialism does not work, because without freely fluctuating prices you cannot rationally calculate the division of labor, allocation of resources,or supply and demand. So now that we have that ut of the way what would you suggest for an alternative to Capitalism?

  • @dirtbagstatus Nonsense. Your labour is worth as much as your desperate need for the little money it brings. The allocation of resources, as you put it, is descided by scarsity. Ever increasing profit is unsustainable as resources are not abundent or infinite.

  • @Slimsoj Wrong. Your labor is worth it's marginal revenue. The scarcity of resources is reflected in the price structure, though this does also factor in the strength of the currency used to purchase said resources and time preference.

  • @dirtbagstatus Without a social safety-net and an ever increasing number of desperat immigrants to the US, wages will drop, debt will increase and living standards will decrease. It's desperation that brings people to working 3-jobs with minimum wage. It's modern slavery.

  • WITH OR WITHOUT CAPITALISM, AMERICA - KAPUT...

  • IN FASCIST AMERICA, CAPITAL CAPITALIZES ON YOU

  • @MrViTopol 43 million deaths under the rule of the Soviet Union(admitted to by KGB). Sounds like a real rosie alternative huh?

  • @dirtbagstatus U TRUST YOUR SOURCES TOO MUCH. U NEED TO CALM DOWN WITH PHONY NUMBERS.

  • @MrViTopol Oh yes you're right,I didn't get my numbers from pravda or the new york times so they must be phony.

  • @dirtbagstatus YOUR NUMBERS ARE PHONY, AND EVERYBODY KNOWS WHERE U GOT THEM FROM.

  • I think this guy needs to understand the differences between capitalism and corporatism cause he really has no clue what he is talking about.

  • There is no where in the world that has a free market!! Maybe we should try that. No more government interventions.

  • a mob of hundreds of black kids beat white people in iowa state fair this thursday, and its not here on RT America. only if it was the other way around.

  • @OniichanDesu BLACK ON WHITE CRIME IN AMERICA IS SO COMMON, NOBODY THINKS IT'S NEWS WORTHY.

  • @MrViTopol NOBODY THINKS IT'S NEWS WORTHY? you are not everybody. talking about delusional.

  • It is funny how they blame Capitalism when it is spending and government intervention that got us in this mess. Their solution is more control and more spending. haha it is laughable. Capitalism is a survival of the fittest situation regulated by real world constraints, not some person in some office or position that decrees it should be a certain way. This guy is wrong, marx was wrong, obama is wrong. Let it all be set free from influence, and we may have a chance.

  • We haven't seen Capitalism in America in decades. We never really gave it a chance to work.

  • Please check out THE FAT CAT BANKERS by TOKYO ROSE

  • Blaming capitalism for a government failure is utterly ridiculous. When we have as many taxes and regulations as we do, claiming the "free market" did anything wrong is patently absurd and ignorant.

  • "Money/market" is ROOT of problems, how do we:

    1. stop corruption caused by profit motive?

    2. ensure everyone has minimum necessities?

    ANSWER

    1. FREELY Share ALL resources & knowledge worldwide, NO more money/property

    2. Use LATEST technology to create an ABUNDANCE of all our needs, NO more waste/theft

    3. Automate/localize ALL production and distribution, NO more central control/wage slavery

  • @dontblockmedk The only problem to this is that it is completely unrealistic. How does everybody freely share things that are scarce. WHO determines who gets what? a dictator? an oligarchy or committee? The truth of the world is that all work is not equally easy or hard. All land is not the same, all food is not the same. This would require FORCE to make it work. The use of FORCE is the most evil of all things. What you state above has been the justification for most genocides on earth.

  • @t Central control is NOT necessary when you have DECENTRALIZED automated self sufficient cities.

1 Can we produce ABUNDANT food, water, energy, etc for everyone or not?

2 Do we have the technology to automate most of the work or not?

    If no, prove it.

If yes, 'money for labor' is OBSOLETE. So the only logical system is to produce abundance and just distribute it. There can only be force when there is NOT enough for everyone, ONLY with abundance EVERYONE is FREE. GET IT.

  • @dontblockmedk Yes mankind can produce enough food, water, energy, but only if it is somehow motivated to do so. You use WE as if there is some collective of people that would just work (and I mean hard labor that it takes) when there is no motive (other than an altruistic self sacrificing one) for them to do so.The abundant would soon become scarce. As far as the technology, robots are nowhere near the levels required to make human labor obsolete.Entitlement ultimately leads to the use of FORCE.

  • @t BS, Technology already produces everything we need. Jobs and businesses are OBSOLETE.

    Choices:

1.allow a small group of people to own and control everything in a FAKE market/money system, while everyone else are slaves or just die

    OR

2.just use the machines and computers to create abundance and distribute to everyone

The technical details are complex but the concept is SIMPLE. Everything else is BS. If you have a better solution than RBE let's hear it.

    Watch for answers

  • This is the end game. Capitalism is to be blamed for fascist corporatism. The free market to be instead of the rigged oligopoly.

When the world economy breaks down, the people will cry out for socialism, but what will change? The same trillionaire dictators that run today's world will run tomorrow's. The only difference is the hundreds of years fought for civil liberties will be lost.

Star Wars is beginning to look like prophecy. "This is how Democracy dies, in thunderous applause."

  • @craigslistflow u making no sense now...

  • "capitalism" works very well for the elite.

  • @MustacheVerra yeah that is the biggest problem that is why the world is going to hell in a bit

  • Let's see, a communist jew on russia tv is telling us that private enterprise is bad? What a surprise! Ridiculous. But jewish capitalism is bad true... however, private enterprise is not capitalism! Don't be fooled by this commie bastard. I agree that we need to dissolve wall street and the corporate structure, but private enterprise is our way out of this problem. Not centrally planned failure economies like the soviet union, china(would implode without the US consumer), Britain, etc.

  • Hello Hello I Know A Better System In Fact I Know TWO

    1. If America Really Need To Use Money Then President Kennedy's Executive Order 11110 Look If Up If You Don't Know About It Is A Solution.

    2. A Resource Based Economy!!! That Need No Money And Would End Things Like War, Hunger, Most Crimes, Homeless, Poverty, Etc This One Is Vastly The Best Choice And Could Be Made In A Year. Using Our Technology Wisely With Out Corporate Corruption Keeping Us From Moving Forward So They Can Make Money

  • @KamidakeRed i know a better system too, but americans don't believe me :-(

  • @MrViTopol Don't feel bad. The drone of this nation could be set on fire and they would pretend like nothings happening. They really don't wanna hear it. Just be happy your one of those people that think of solution and tries to move forward even when faced with so much ignorance there has always been a solution for these problem but you have to face fact that the people are just as corrupted as the corporation and government destroying the country. They are unwilling to stand up and fight.

  • @MrViTopol They have no sense of doing whats is Right for the benefit of all mankind.. All they care about is money and money is a Primitive way are running a system with so much Technology that could Cloth, Feed, Shelter, and Cure. every human being on this earth and Make every thing equal.

  • IN FASCIST AMERICA, CAPITALISM GETS YOU ALL WORKED UP

  • What capitalism? We've had zionist-controlled predatory capitalism (AKA Zionist-corporate socialism).

But what does the kremlin propaganda machine (AKA RT whores) know?

  • @wtfjaftw IN FASCIST AMERICA, CAPITALISM WORKS YOU OVER...

  • This guy is a dumbass....Capitalism does work in the U.S....Fascism does not work in the U.S....but Bush and Obama don't see it that way.....you either have free market Capitalism 100% or you don't have Capitalsim

  • @tswagg504 IN FASCIST AMERICA, CAPITALISM WACKS...

  • @MrViTopol I don't understand...either you have Capitalism of Fascism. The moment that government interferes with the free market and colludes with private corporations, that's Corporatism or better yet Fascism.

  • @removeyourchains - your argument sounds compelling and is at least partially true - there are exceptions. They say they have to pay CEO's millions of dollars to "retain talent". Yet no thought of that same logic applied further down the employment chain. Why? But I agree with your assessment in that paying workers is often viewed as lost profits by many corporations. Like I said - one idea could be worth millions of dollars - but when workers are paid just enough to get them to show up-

  • Just remember that the 'American Dream' is a big lie. One of the biggest lies ever fabricated by the government and mainstream media to sell you capitalism and make you want to give the rich their tax cuts.

  • Right. America needs to get out of this anti govt mindset. The wealthy are no ones friends. And govt is not your enemy

  • you guys ever seen that Sergio Leone film Once Upon a Time in the West? That movie talks about money being the new power over physical ability.

  • Capitalism is just another ISM created to get through another day. Once we stop believing it fails.

  • @RyanR3volution, listen maybe you misunderstood, i agree with you 100%. America hasnt been free since 1913. until their is no more federal reserve/IRS America will always be slaves

  • @Judeschwein88

Under capitalism, money talks. So of course the "owners" run the show.

Under radical socialism, the working class majority and their interests rule.

So you're right - it is about power.

  • The solution will only come when reality sets back in. Everyone has been living on the fantasy that they can have any lifestyle they choose and "pay for it later", the credit card mentality. The reality is that someone has to pay, and on a larger scale, that's what happened to the government with all the borrowing they've done. You have to pay sometime. Our time has come. The USA may very well turn into Little China someday.

  • @wtfjaftw

That had more to do with natural advantage - the USA was both isolated and assisted in foreign trade by basic factors of geography (both in terms of isolation and abundant natural resources and lands to exploit - after killing off the Indians mind you), and pretty much from the beginning was on a course of Imperialism. First they dispossessed the red-man, and then they began attacking their neighbors to the south, then across the Pacific.

And black slavery had A LOT to do with it.
