@BBoy2020 The video file was ripped directly from the disc to a pc and converted into a usable format to keep the highest quality possible. The subs are displayed through software code on the Playstation rather than being directly encoded on the video, a bit like how you can turn subs on and off on a DVD (though Capcom don't let you do that, they are always on). So unless you record directly from the console video output, the subs won't show up.

So when did this get censored? I have the Japanese Biohazard and it is this same intro in color. I was under the impression the uncut version never made it to the US .... interesting. The US & PAL version are B&W so this is definitely not the Japanese one....
