I actually spent two years at Iowa State University (the university in Ames that the interviewer refers to) and then switched to Full Sail in Florida. I graduated from there two years later with a bachelor's degree. Forty-eight hours after graduation I had a job and I've been a programmer in the video game industry ever since. Switching to Full Sail was the best move I ever made. At least half of the studio I work at is made up of Full Sail graduates.
