My T60 had coffee cup overturned on it (accident)... immediate blackscreen, literally washed it out including brief total immersion, working fine again now after a good dry out (a bit of dismantling to do this properly).

I tested my T500, and it DID WORK. The water dripped from the bottom, and the PC worked well.
