The stereo is like shit and straight off the dealer lot, parts of the door shake if you turn the music loud. Every plastic part in the car screams "cheap!", and it lacks anything remotely luxurious for a car in that price range. For what you pay, it's not even good in the performance category. About the ONLY thing it has going for it is (IMO) the 2011 model is gorgeous on the exterior.
@ctsincebay I have been seriously considering the 2012 wrx if I can't find the 04-05 sti I want, I'm surprised you found the interior cheap, my 01 z28 was very bland and you can even hear how unfastened everything was when you close the door, I still loved the car because I'm a huge fan of gm and the ls motors even though I prefer the classics like the chevelle and nova but then again the 454 was the original ls6, but I really like the wrx interior compared to even my old 03 evo.

no such thing a a 93-95 camaro ss. They started in 1996 and they are the same as a z28 with minor additions. 98+ they replaced the lt1 with the ls1 on both z28 and ss.
@ford4point0 one correction to this in 1997 the Camaro SS had the limited edition LT4 producing 330hp and 345 lb ft/tq. While the Z28 had the regular LT1 producing like 300 or 310 hp, which is the same as the 98-00 Z28 and SS, 01-02 the Camaro SS was rated at 335hp and the Z28 was rated at 325hp. These same stats are also relevant to he Pontiac Firebird Formula and Firebird Trans Am, the Firehawk was always rated 7-10hp more than the Trans Am.
@sicz2891 nope, most 97 SS camaros still had the lt1. The lt4 was only available in like 100 camaros from SLP. They were also SS, but they were a limited time white color with red/orange stripes. And even less firebirds had the lt4. Maybe like 30. I stand by my point, Z28s had the exact same engine as the same year SS. Chevy just rated them differently.
I don't even know why they made an SS option for 93-97 camaros. There not that much better than the z28's of the same year. There both LT1's. Now the 98+ any camaro has the all alluminum v8.
i still dont understand what stage 2 means but whatever it is its a waist of money. it barely beat that stock ss. stis are the lamest cars on the road. you lucky if it can beat a 5 speed kia rio

I'm a big WRX fan but I also have friends with stock ish Camaros z28 and SS and I know the WRX depending on mods but stage 2 is pushing around 300-350 hp and or tq stands no chance against an SS that can rev just as high and comes stock with the same numbers as the stage 2. something is awry in this video
This was fake as all get out. The SS would pull up on him anytime he wanted to in the vid and then let off. Look at the clearance between the fender and the tire. yep ive never got to race 1 but i have raced an older 5.0 that was gutted and on slicks with cam exhaust and other stuff but at the time i had a vf 39 on 17psi he ran 12.40 at the track and i took him by about 2 cars and i spun my whole first gear yes i spun all 4 tires

@MrYukon04 Um Ls1's came in the Z28 and SS in 1998 with the new front clip which was underated in Power they claim 305 for the Z28 & 325 for the SS but it was more in the 350HP because they did not want to be that close to the Vette numbers even though they shared the same motor, also WS6 and T/A, so that one in the video has to be either 96/97 and we'd have to see the interior to tell the difference either way nothing could touch the F-body back then even a cobra choked.

@kyleisreallycool haha....u can stage 2 a wrx with a $500 p&p accessport. stock wrx=227, stage 2 w/93= 285 hp. the only 'suggested' hardware upgrade to run this is a turbo back exhaust system. i run a catless bell mouth dp with stock catback on stage 2 w/91 and it runs great. it really just evens out boost throughout the power band and lowers fuel economy...i get about 8 mpg when i get on it lol...proly about the same for the camaro.

yep ive never got to race 1 but i have raced an older 5.0 that was gutted and on slicks with cam exhaust and other stuff but at the time i had a vf 39 on 17psi he ran 12.40 at the track and i took him by about 2 cars and i spun my whole first gear yes i spun all 4 tires

The only chance you have is when you start modding. and thats the turbo. face it once the chevy starts to modd rice loses again. its power speed and torque vs awd and high revving motor witch is has 230-250hp why cant i see any wrx quarter mile below 10sec and theres a dozen camaros that are easily in 8s

@MrYukon04 Um Ls1's came in the Z28 and SS in 1998 with the new front clip which was underated in Power they claim 305 for the Z28 & 325 for the SS but it was more in the 350HP because they did not want to be that close to the Vette numbers even though they shared the same motor, also WS6 and T/A, so that one in the video has to be either 96/97 and we'd have to see the interior to tell the difference either way nothing could touch the F-body back then even a cobra choked.

@kyleisreallycool haha....u can stage 2 a wrx with a $500 p&p accessport. stock wrx=227, stage 2 w/93= 285 hp. the only 'suggested' hardware upgrade to run this is a turbo back exhaust system. i run a catless bell mouth dp with stock catback on stage 2 w/91 and it runs great. it really just evens out boost throughout the power band and lowers fuel economy...i get about 8 mpg when i get on it lol...proly about the same for the camaro.

All the little imports are made for turns and all that which explains the difference in gearing and tuning but these american built muscle cars are all about straight lines.
