I have the wii and the gamecube too and I love mario games

I have sunhine with 119 shines(lol I'm too lazy to get the last), paper mario and other games

but I hear this game is "easy"?

this is only my second thime playing the game and the first time I only got four stars.

From what I've played so for (up to the 3rd grand star). Some parts are easy other parts can be hard/ anooying but overall the game is fun and makes good use of the wii's controls though you will need a numchuck to play.
