nice to see my own area posted,im from maybrook and like to bass fish and get the big carp just for fun.cool video.believe it or not but back in the late 1970 era my brother RAY caught a 44 lb. leatherback carp right there in wallkill right below the dam near the post office. arts bait shop used to be across the bridge and he has[had] the records from that day so long ago.dont think they can grow that big anymore,at least i cant find monsters like that.
u live in a nice area ,we like the river and the scenary,we're from down the road in vernon.we canoe on a lake there.mabay try some fishin' this summer!by for now.
