PASP M76 odličan snajper samo koristi četiri tipa loših optika ZRAK 4x5"10, PSO-1, I.O.R. LPS 4X6"TIP2. Sa boljom optikom napr. 12x50 imao bi bolje rezultate na večim udaljenostima. U ovaj snajper može stati metak 8x57 ali se ni u kojem slučaju ne preporučuje pucati jer pravi kalibar mu je 7,92x57. Za ovaj snajper se preporučuje korištenje PPU S ili PP S metka jer je MOA optike kalibrirana na takvu vrstu metka u protivnom slučaju optika nema 100% preciznost a i narušava se cijev snajpera.

Pitao sam poznanike koji se bave lovom da mi prodaju sredstva za čišćenje i podmazivanje oružja, ali su mi svi rekli da koriste WD-40, da to mogu i sam kupiti, neki ga koriste desetak godina i da im se pokazao jako dobro. @henrifirstman As far as I can tell they make them in .308 as well as other calibers(x54R as you said) but they are designated differently. I would prefer the 8mm being I am not terribly fond of rimmed cartridges in semi autos.

anyways as you may have read im am not that into guns but i do know my way around the tool shed and can say that wd-40 shouldnt be used on any gun and im surprised all these gun "experts" havent mentioned this. it is a good lubricant but it also penetrates metal which over time will wear your gun down. if you do use i suggest spray on and wiping it off quickly. to give you an example thats like using acid instead of toothpaste give it a whirl. (exaggerated to get my point across)

Why is it that everybody is a self made expert concerning firearms? What I see in this video is a young man fiels stripping a piece o crap variant of a Kalisnokov and some guy in marketing decided it wouls sell better if they called it a sniper rifle. @cabritorsss man, you don't know what you're talking about. That "piece of crap variant of a Kalashnikov (not kalashnokov) is, and i repeat IS a legit sniper rifle. The rifle it self proved it's worth on the battlefield during all conflicts in the 90's. However it was never meant to be a long range high precision weapon, rather it was tasked as a squad based medium range support weapon. Something like M14 nowadays in US army. So do some research, PS: It's Zastava made, pure Serbian rifle.
@Avenger556fmj Soory for the mis-spelling.. I just had catarct surgery, as if anyone gives a shit, and I havn't received my new glasses yet. All I know is I own two AK's, one with a milled receiver, and both are no where near my AR15, M1 Garrand, pre 64 Model 70 or Sringfield A3O3. (The Garrand and A3O3 are better than 5o years old.) One of the AK's does however shoot better than my General Motors M1 carbine at 100 yards. I've been shooting longer than your Dad's been alive.
@cabritorsss Sorry, for your surgery, i'm sure it was a painful ordeal. Now i'm not trying to put down your shooting experience, all i'm saying is that this is def not just another AK. I don't know how much you know about Kalashnikov based rifles, but Zastava's rifles are probably the best in the family (Bulgarian ones might be better). Unlike M70 series, this weapon has an effective range of about 800m, there is even an confirmed kill at 1200 but the guy admitted it was luck more than anything.
@Avenger556fmj A Rem. model 700 in 308 with a bull barrel can do that shot all day long. You want longer? Barret .50 at a mile and a half. (Meters are for people willing to say goodbye to the USA.)

But, being perfectly honest, my favorite deer gun is a sporterized model 98 Mauser in 30-06 with an old Redfiels 3x9 scope. My tack driver at the gun range and for small game is my Saco in .222.. I'm still trying to wear out my M1 carbine. I know that I've shot at least 3,000 rounds through it and it still keeps going. (with a new barrel about 8 years ago)
One more thing. There is a difference in military doctrine between US and SSSR (back then) when it comes to assault rifles. US turned to precision based on their experience in pacific while SSSR turned to close quarter, big caliber due to their experiences in Stalingrad and other as such. No kalashnikov based ASSAULT rifle can be more accurate than M16 family of armaments period. Dragunov SVD and M76 are not assault rifles, hence are more accurate then assault rifles from the same family.

@4sfantom Not really, it helps classify the weapon type. If I say, IE, German Assault Rifle, I could get a G36, and a whole list of newer model weapons. If I say, Nazi German assault rifle, I will get assault rifles made in said country in said time period.

Pitao sam poznanike koji se bave lovom da mi prodaju sredstva za čišćenje i podmazivanje oružja, ali su mi svi rekli da koriste WD-40, da to mogu i sam kupiti, neki ga koriste desetak godina i da im se pokazao jako dobro. Potrudiću se ovih dana da kupim sredstva koja ste mi predložili (nadam se da nisu skupa) *M76 je jako dobra puška, mada nisam imao prilike da pucam iz nje. @henrifirstman As far as I can tell they make them in .308 as well as other calibers(x54R as you said) but they are designated differently. I would prefer the 8mm being I am not terribly fond of rimmed cartridges in semi autos.
I've seen PSL and SVD rifles suffer from rim over jams.

anyways as you may have read im am not that into guns but i do know my way around the tool shed and can say that wd-40 shouldnt be used on any gun and im surprised all these gun "experts" havent mentioned this. it is a good lubricant but it also penetrates metal which over time will wear your gun down. if you do use i suggest spray on and wiping it off quickly. to give you an example thats like using acid instead of toothpaste give it a whirl. (exaggerated to get my point across)

Why is it that everybody is a self made expert concerning firearms? What I see in this video is a young man fiels stripping a piece o crap variant of a Kalisnokov and some guy in marketing decided it wouls sell better if they called it a sniper rifle. @cabritorsss man, you don't know what you're talking about. That "piece of crap variant of a Kalashnikov (not kalashnokov) is, and i repeat IS a legit sniper rifle. The rifle it self proved it's worth on the battlefield during all conflicts in the 90's. However it was never meant to be a long range high precision weapon, rather it was tasked as a squad based medium range support weapon. Something like M14 nowadays in US army. So do some research, PS: It's Zastava made, pure Serbian rifle.

All I know is I own two AK's, one with a milled receiver, and both are no where near my AR15, M1 Garrand, pre 64 Model 70 or Sringfield A3O3. (The Garrand and A3O3 are better than 5o years old.) One of the AK's does however shoot better than my General Motors M1 carbine at 100 yards. I've been shooting longer than your Dad's been alive.

@cabritorsss Sorry, for your surgery, i'm sure it was a painful ordeal. Now i'm not trying to put down your shooting experience, all i'm saying is that this is def not just another AK. I don't know how much you know about Kalashnikov based rifles, but Zastava's rifles are probably the best in the family (Bulgarian ones might be better). Unlike M70 series, this weapon has an effective range of about 800m, there is even an confirmed kill at 1200 but the guy admitted it was luck more than anything.

But, being perfectly honest, my favorite deer gun is a sporterized model 98 Mauser in 30-06 with an old Redfiels 3x9 scope. My tack driver at the gun range and for small game is my Saco in .222.. I'm still trying to wear out my M1 carbine. I know that I've shot at least 3,000 rounds through it and it still keeps going. (with a new barrel about 8 years ago)

One more thing. There is a difference in military doctrine between US and SSSR (back then) when it comes to assault rifles. US turned to precision based on their experience in pacific while SSSR turned to close quarter, big caliber due to their experiences in Stalingrad and other as such. No kalashnikov based ASSAULT rifle can be more accurate than M16 family of armaments period. Dragunov SVD and M76 are not assault rifles, hence are more accurate then assault rifles from the same family.

@4sfantom Not really, it helps classify the weapon type. If I say, IE, German Assault Rifle, I could get a G36, and a whole list of newer model weapons. If I say, Nazi German assault rifle, I will get assault rifles made in said country in said time period.

@oreomario73 Dragunov's the Russian line of designated sniper rifles the M76 I believe is the Serbia line of sniper rifles. The long gas tube all seem to look alike doesn't it ;)
