Interesting. I've always thought that all Mormons were locked-stepped into the patriarchal power structure, and that no dissenting views were allowed. Here we have a young man of obvious seriousness who expresses faith well, and who has problems with some of the aspects of the LDS. I hope they let him continue on his path without threats of excommunication.
To my fellow Californians. Lets once and for all put this Stone Age debate behind us. Lets begin to instill Self Love and Acceptance in all our children, Gay or Straight. Lets teach our future generations to not Hate and Discriminate. Join me in Saying no to Religious Extremism. Join me in voting NO ON PROP 8. Thanks for your support!
Don't worry, The LDS church is the fastest evolving religion out there. It just seems slow cause it usually takes centuries for change to happen in religions. Just look at the breakthroughs in race relations, polygamy, and the gentrifying of the temple ceremonies. They are on the right track. Equal rights for gays is soon to come. All my mormon friends and family are already on that train. They're great people no matter what other constraints are put on them by the church they love.
