One thing I am don't like about 1/8 4WD EP or GP, the designs are so similar to one other, they are utterly the same car, save some details. Not so with 1/10 4WDs, where you have almost as many widely varying designs as manufacturers. Of course, 1/10 2WDs are almost as bad as 1/8 4WDs. Same with most on-road & large scale designs. I get that performance has basically pared down design to a scant few variations, but this is getting monotonous. So many companies, so few actual cars.

@gabehunt2000 A drag car is too specific. Besides you can drag a JATO or Rustler VXL, among others. I am of the opinion that TRAXXAS may either make a Buggy 1/8 4WD or 1/5 2WD or 4WD, or as a recent consideration, a 1/5 motorbike. Of course, a 1/10 rally car is not out of place either.

@gabehunt2000 I realized that before I started typing. It's just very unlikely Traxxas would make a specifically made dragster. After all, most of Traxxas' stuff can and is used for drag racing, of a sort. As lame as some of Traxxas' ideas have been, mainly to pay the bills so they can do stuff they really want to do, I have never known Traxxas to make anything with such a singular and limited purpose as a drag racer.

@DocWolph 10-4 on you not thinking they will make a drag vehicle and yes i could drag race a bandsaw too! maybe its there, they made a 100mph rtr, who knows what they will do next.
