Thank you to Stroud and the band for what ever reason you are doing this. It is a trip back to to senior year in high school when we wore out a 33 of "Scratch in the Sky" while hammering together sets for Camelot.
Hey Stroud, I was going to ask for my money back until the harmony came in for the last minute. Seriously though, GRREAT performance! Thanks to you and ALL the band guys for keeping Chicago Roots Rock alive.
First of all nice video Steve, we thank you for taking the time to post it. People this video was taken at a borders books. Its true Bob Stroud did an excellent job sing with all the talent, from all the different band members which were kind enough to show up. People lets not loose focus as to why this event took place.
It would have been a lot easier had you mentioned up front that you don't read or speak English. Just what is it about; he's not the lead singer for the Cryan' Shames and Tom Doody IS don't you understand? Jim Fairs doesn't want to re-join the band because he's not interested in playing Cryan' Shames music. He wants an outlet for his new music. When you get your interpreter to explain all of this to you, please write back with another one of your snappy retorts krab-boy.
I personally think that Bob Stroud did a fabulous job, and I can confidently say that Bob is an extremely modest individual and to say that hi 'ego exceeds his talent' is an extremely inaccurate statement.
1st of all, Bob's not the lead singer of the Cryan' Shames. He was asked to do this when Tom Doody couldn't make the gigs. Maybe you should tell this to the rest of the band who wanted him to join. Maybe you should even mention it to Tom Doody who gave his blessing. Maybe you should look in the mirror and examine YOUR ego. You obviously don't even know Bob and your comment is childish and obsolete to say the least.
Everyone at the event thought that Bob Stroud did a fabulous job on "Up On A Roof". I personally think he is the best lead singer in the Shames since Toad!
I got to interview Bob stroud about a week ago.

zakrd if you don't have anything nice to say than keep your comments to your self. How low class can you get.
