  • i don't use buttermilk because modern buttermilk is cultured like yogurt. it is not like the original buttermilk which is the liquid left over from butter production. many people marinate their chicken, and it improves the flavor, but i wanted a recipe that people would actually make. so, this is easy and delicious.

  • You don't have to use any buttermilk or milk? I've seen a lot of people make Southern Fried Chicken with buttermilk. Also you don't have to season the chicken first before you put in the flour?

  • Chicken tenderloins?

    Come on! Where is the skin and bone?

  • while I agree with you, my mother in law can't eat chicken on the bone. So I had to use the tenders.

    I usually use 8 cut myself.

  • No problemo. This recipe looks good on tenderloin with egg coating. It may also be good with fish fillet. Thanks for a nice recipe.
