Ithikon Akmeotaton plays the type of music that inspires me.I am Greek originally from the black see (PONTUS) residing in the States.There is no doubt that we are the same people either one calls it Romania (Byzantium) or Ottoman(ia). Unfortunately as of late the Greeks claim to be Westerners.The Turks however being true to at least part of their heritage continued unchanged the path of the Byzantines in the visual arts and music.One has to go to Turkey to find the lost Greek.
