  • The best song on the album wasn't even on the album :(

  • I really would buy the entire Deluxe versionof WL if it didn't have that Deadmau5 fuckup of Rope on it, cuz this songs a gem! Why wasn't this on the regular release!!????

  • <3

  • Personally I think this song is way more powerful than for instance "A matter of time", so pretty sad it isn't on the album.......or iTunes!

  • @VPMM0804 It actually is on itunes, its in the deluxe editon

  • This music is perfect for guitar hero! =)

  • This is b-side material which is probably why it ended up a bonus track.

  • its stupid you be processed because you finally get tired of trying to find a rare(perhaps this deluxe edition is not rare but anyway...)track or cd or dont wanna spend more money because of geting just a few more songs and simple downloading free from the internet.just compare download it(free and easy to do)buy it(paid and in some situations rare to find mainly if youre talking about rare cds or deluxe cds)thumbs up if you agree

  • nowadays music are not like the past i remind when i was a kid, songs you could listen everywhere:radios,tv,internet.now SOPA gonna try to make us all listen to music in just one way FUCKING BUY cds's i think it sounds stupid you spend lots of more money just to listen a few more songs you couldn't listen on a regular version of a cd(not just WL) if SOPA or even the own band wants us to buy their tracks they should make their deluxe tracks easier to found

  • Def Love this track, guitar sounds a bit QOSTA style

  • i agree should have been on regular album version

  • If they put this on the album instead of Miss the Misery it would've been an album completely devoid of filler.

  • @maalbe987 It's funny that you say that, because I was listening to the record the other day and I thought the exact thing. One of the best off the album.

  • @rlerner995 The weird thing, though, is that the album was named after a line in Miss the Misery, so if that song ended up as an outtake the album probably would've had a different name.

  • This song would have been better off on the actual CD :P

  • WTF IS THAT? IM FUCKIN HAVING A ORGASM!

  • I think it's great but I don't think it would have fit the mood of the album.

  • 10 people are Better Off

  • this song is just too good to be considered a B-side, it should have been on the standard release, it is better than back and forth and miss the misery.

  • This haha sounds like Taylor's band and TCV fused to go with one of the top comments. I swear this is one ghost of a song. Awesome.

  • @PanophobiaOnFire so true

  • this should've definitely made the final cut of the album :(

  • They really REALLY need to put out a b-side compilation.

  • how come this song didn't make it to the regular Wasting Light version?

  • Savage As Fuck

  • This song is about masturbation ?

  • @GDookie16 Hell ya!

  • @apchtafbl what's up ?

  • @GDookie16 no just no

  • Even being a pop melodic song, this song has a heavy metal feel because of the guitars. Foo Fighters rock!

  • This is the first time I heard the song. I had no idea that they had an extra song. It is completely awesome. As I predicted :)

  • is it just me or does this song actually get BETTER every time i listen to it!! Fuckin Foos Y'all!!!!

  • this is ammmmazzzzinngggg:)

  • rad song and I agree with you lucidperv

  • man how did this song NOT end up in the regular WL version? it's one of the best off it!

  • Definetly How did it not@danielvsh

  • Love this track....wasting light is fast becoming my favourite album of the decade

  • Even the tracks that didn't make the album kick ass. Best rock album since Nevermind. Foo Fighters rule

  • @jtcolts72 Fuck yeah man. Nevermind was amazing but this album has got to be one of the best among with the rest that they have done.

  • @jtcolts72 Nevermind wasnt Rock, it was Grunge

  • @Kakurame someone's a dumbass... Grunge is a subgenre of (Alternative) Rock! Get your facts straight before posting nonsense!

  • I bought this album when it came out but what drives me nuts is that this song is on a separate disc. Great song as are all the songs on the album!

  • Dave Grohl kicks ass!

  • Reminds me of 9 in the afternoon actually...

  • @Jaydar111 reminds you of 9 in the afternoon?!!! THIS ISNT A PUSSY BOY BAND!!!!! ME RAGE NOW

  • @Jaydar111 what? fuck y bitch

  • @Jaydar111 Uh... don't tell me this actually reminds you of Panic at the dickhole...

  • sounds like way down by the coattail rider! :D

  • if this song doesnt sound like queen then i dont no what does!

  • Dammit, this album was so good that now I can't wait for another.

  • @Joylbm Nice, lol.

  • @zeustay1 screw you

  • Wow.. For all of those who r asking why this wasn't included with the album, shoulda bought the Deluxe Edition of Wasting Light and u'd have it, lol. And why would u want to replace any of the songs with this one? The whole album is EPIC!

  • 7 people are worse off

  • This shouldn't have replaced anything; it should have just been included with everything else.

  • Why was this not on the album?!?!?!?

  • @Bonzainr1 it was but only on the deluxe edition

  • @Bonzainr1 well if ya weren't a bitch and got the deluxe edition, you'd have it. lol.

  • Sounds like a 90's song of FF. Or a One by One song. I don't like it but it's not a bad song

  • Not really sure. I don't see myself as pumped as the other songs on the album.. But I'm still enjoying it.. Anyways can't wait to see the Foo Fighters & Rise Against @ The XCEL!!!!!

  • @aajpity fuck yeah dude im so gonna be there!

  • @aajpity That show is gonna be amazing!! Gonna be there as well! Can't wait!

  • why didnt they put this on the album omg!

  • @12jo0 I would've preferred this to Rosemary.

  • @MooseOfReason nah i like rosemary

  • Epic song! o.o

  • Loved this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is one of the best songs on the album, and it's not even on the album!

  • Fuckin awesome !!! :D x

  • 6 people clearly need put down..

  • it's got a Beatles bop to it

  • @nworbrelytthefirst thats 3/4 time for ya

  • True dat@nworbrelytthefirst

  • 3:36 - 3:53

  • I hope you play this in Pittsburgh. ;)

  • great bonustrack, should be on every version

  • Sounds a lot like Queen.

  • Man this song is great :)

  • Ya Ya YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • heres the opening riff, cant post it in tabs cause youtube wont let me :(

play 6th fret of E twice then

    8th fret of A

back to 6th fret of E

then to 9th to 6th and finally to 9th with a bend on the E string

  • @MrPollyphonic 8th fret of D*

  • I think wasting light album is the best rock album in years. Maybe the Foo Fighters can keep rock n' roll alive and strong.

  • Everithing that has foo fighters in the name is good

  • Everithing that has foo fighters in the name is good

  • @natanxdlegal54 everithing that has foo fighters is better than good .. . .is better than God . . .IS better THAN CHUCK NORRIS E_E!! IS DAVE-GOD-GROHL!

  • this song is very good it should be on the album :D

  • the Monkeys

  • This almost sounds like YOUR NOT THE ONE BUT YOUR THE ONLY ONE .....WHO CAN MAKE ME FEEL LIKE THIS :)

the orange county film soundtrack , rock on foo fighters

  • Man, this definitely should've been on the album. It's different but distinctly Foo. I can hear some Beatles influence too :D

  • This song certainly has some Sgt Pepper influence

  • @Rareenergy you hit the nail right on the head,100 percent correct

  • how can u dislike this? they recorded this album on tape, amazing sound!

  • This is probably the best rock album since Nevermind. Foo Fighters have gone from legends to Gods

  • Showing radiohead how deep career albums should be done. Go foo fighters.

  • @johnaiton Amen brother

  • @johnaiton I thought their latest wasn't too bad. It didn't show any fire, but it was still better than any modern music album. It still pales in comparison to this album, though.

  • @johnaiton That's just a weird statement - are you implying that radiohead is not deep? uhmmm...ok...

overall, wasting light is very tight and controlled...it's great however it is a bit too sober for me. I wish they smoked more doobies while making this - after all they were at Dave's crib evidently.

  • Comment removed

  • @MegaSoulSearcher Deep meaning depth of their career. Both bands have many highly regarded albums.

  • @johnaiton Radiohead does what they want, that is what rock n' roll is about jackass. It's not about doing what everyone expects you to do.

  • @johnaiton Hey.. Radiohead is an amazing band, and Foo Fighters are legendary. The king of Limbs and Wasting Light are the best albums of 2011 so far, you know, just because you don't like Radiohead doesn't mean people don't like both Foo Fighters and Radiohead..

  • @CPSHOWTV EXCEPT FOR THE 51 PEOPLE WHO CLEARLY DO

  • @CPSHOWTV couldn't agree more, radiohead and the foo fighters are genuinly my two favourite bands ever! :')

  • @johnaiton You are obviously retarded, because in the UK, Radiohead is one of the big bands, they just never hit off in the U.S.

  • @johnaiton wtf is the problem with radiohead... they are rock too!!

  • @johnaiton (i mean they rock too) (not with ''are'')

  • @johnaiton You have the band names switched around there.

  • @johnaiton just because radiohead isnt rock anymore doesn't make them bad musicians at all. They wanted to experiment more with other instruments. Why be restricted to one the rest of your life? However, I do highly commend Grohl for not going pop (not that Radiohead went pop) or electronic on us. Grohl does prove that there are no limits with the guitar.

  • @Robiskool1234 hendrix showed people that a long time ago. but grohl shows that at least someone can write a good song amongst a plethora of "musicians" that can't though

  • @bddb9 He's keepin rock alive. Thank god for the Black Keys though, bringing actual rock back to mainstream radio.

  • Wow, playing in Them Crooked Vultures really had an influence on Grohl. Nice!

  • @kkwak92 Wrong! Dave had influence on them!

  • @kkwak92 Yeah, it does have a TCV flair to it. Of course, Grohl and Josh Homme of QotSA buds for a long time, long before Them Crooked Vultures, so it's only natural they'd share some influence on each other. Birds of a feather...well, form a band called Them Crooked Vultures! LOL

  • @kkwak92 no way dude grohl influenced crooked vultures...

  • @Jenitorture no way... if anyone influenced anyone, it'd be john paul jones. but in all honesty, they're all fucking amazing musicians and all their creativity influenced each other. all 3 influence me in my music. they're the 3 wisemen, every song is a little baby jesus and music itself is god!!!

  • does anyone has the lyrics??

  • Is the Deluxe Edition out on CD or just Download?

  • @MISTEROMIOMIOMIOMI got my deluxe version at best buy...

  • i also like the cover. reminds me of some 70's psychedelic

  • does he say ya bastard ??

  • @DavieMahon I was just thinking the same thing. Or faster?

  • And why was this awesome song NOT on the Main Album?

  • I'm going to go ahead and say it: I don't like White Limo.

Furthermore, every other song on this album is my favourite song.

  • @fibrebiz1

I agree with you. I am a huge fan of the Foo Fighters, but I don't really like their super heavy stuff. White Limo seems like too much.

  • @fibrebiz1 I kinda have to agree. White Limo was a just little too screamo for me. But still, ALL the others are great!

  • WHY DID I NOT GET THE DELUXE EDITION!?

  • this put me in a really good mood!

    Brilliant riff

  • damn it!! now i'm mad that i don't have the deluxe edition!! haha. great song though

  • OH NO!

    OH NO!

    OH NO!

    OH YEAH! (cool-aids man)

  • @ayohi If you have aids you are definitely cool, you are burning, trust me

  • @TheFunkInfection lol no only ghonorrea man burns. but i trust you anyway, your a doctor.

  • Justin Bieber and his two android body doubles disliked this song

  • OMFG !!!! im hitting me head on the floor !!! this track ROCKS ! i lov you foo fighters :)))

  • Who the fuk would unlike the FOO FIGHTERS die!!!!! haters !!!!!!!

  • I think this song, like "I Should Have Known", is about Dave's friend Jimmy, who died from a drug overdose a few years ago. I get the vibe this is Dave telling Jimmy he is a bastard for dying that way, basically killing himself. I may be wrong.

  • the new foo fighters are crap compared to the old... not saying the new is bad though

  • i love how Dave Grohl brought the influence of QOSTA and TCV in his new album.

    - fuck why are you brilliant FOO FIGHTERS ?

    - teach me how to be like you guys !

  • this song is just amazing, I'm sure theres not a bad song they've ever done ,__,

  • this album is a miracle !!

  • Sounds very Beatles sounding in a way , great stuff

  • 3 people don't like this song

  • I unexpectedly eargasmed. Multiple times.

    *off to have a cigarette...

  • Why didn't they replace one of the album's filler songs with this one? Great song.

  • @MRohrbacherProd what? there are no filler songs on this album. they are all beyond amazing. and this song totally has a red light fever feel to it.

  • the first time i played this i had my speakers turned all the way up and my mom happened to go by my room during "You know you’re better off you bastard" lol she fliped out and her face was priceless XD

great job foo fighters, love every song on the album!

  • A song is new and right away people have to start bitching about it and tearing it apart...just shut up and listen to Grohl and the gang play some good tunes

  • To me this sounds like the foo fighters. just enjoy the music and stop being know it all music elitists! Go Foo!

  • OH NOOOO oooh nooo OHH NOOO

How come this song ins't on the record? it's so awesome! with the whole optimistic beat.

Now I'll have to get the best buy record too. Oh you Mr. Grohl you killin' me!

  • 3 people clearly have no taste in music

  • I'm sorry, but this is the sound of Foo Fighters treading water.

  • @TheElliotloveday I dunno if you're listening to the same music I am but this is great...

  • lol, its music. quit crying about what influenced the song

  • Thumbs up if you think this album is the best thing since the 90s!

  • sounds like a taylor hawkins song from red light fever

  • this sounds NOTHING like QOTSA

  • @fede018 you can definitely hear the influence that being in TCV had on Grohl. There's a bunch of eerie harmonies and darker sounding tones on this album than there were on any other Foo Fighters record

  • I know it's cliche to ask this, but is this song about Kurt?

  • this should of been on the actual album instead of miss the misery.. but that's just me.

  • @lovegrohldrummer9

Literally, thinking the exact same thing

  • @lovegrohldrummer9 Just me too

  • def sounds like the guitar style on this tune is influenced by QOTSA ... and that is a beautiful thing :)

  • they should record in dave's garage more often. this album is kick ass.

  • Maybe QOTSA but definitely has a similar vibe to the "Nothing Left To Lose" album. Love it.

  • LOVE IT

  • DAMN they are so good. NEW and GOOD. what more could you ask of?
