Well, shall i tell u the long or the short version?

Here the short: The client is downloading data from the server in cata. this has to be patched.

2. There are randomized opcodes, and they have to find the randomisation, to make playing possible.

@PilaProto Well, the biggest Prob is the security, that's why it's complicated. With Hamachi u need no Portforwarding, just as u use ur server like in a LAN network.

If you want to do it without hamachi, u have to Portforward a few Ports IN YOUR ROUTER, not your COmp ;)

@appleguy09 I think its a problem with the actual Arcemu rev, just re-download Arcemu with ArcScript and it should work.

As soon as ArcEmu and a Database releases their 4.0.1 version, it will be aviable on eMux.

@hites96 UUm you can duplicate your WoW Folder and save one 4.1 on a external disc, then downpatch the one on your comp.

Its the easiest way if ya don't wanna loose your 4.1

The only thing u need is 20GB Space :P

Also i know you can do it with portforwarding, but unless you are using a Server to Host your WoW Server on its just more dangerous.

Create a network, let your friend join it, put your Hamachi id as the servers address and then just set it as realmlist... Done

Or just portfoward the two IPs and read a bit of the arcemu wiki, Hamachi adds too much overhead to the processor, and usually results in 50% CPU usage with ArcEmu and two players, compression + encryption over VPN for realtime gaming = sucks.

At the moment i am using my server network internal. HamachiX doesnt work for me.

So i am waiting for LogMeIn Hamachi.

I can try it for you to find a way but this probably will take some time.

If you want to do it over HamachiX: Download it create a network your friend join it (over HamachiX) then put your hamachi id s the server adress and your friend as the realmlits thingy. Maybe it works but theres no guarantee.

@BL00DM0NK35 the emux file might be buggy right now.... Hmmmmm..... Did you read his comment? Make sure it in app folder. MAKE SURE IT IS AN APP.. I think might help or the download links might be down maybe even your internet connection.

And if this helps click on the box it should highlight blue then click start download. It should work....

@PilaProto Pila first create a hamachi account.. Then simply login to hamachi with hamachi x for mac. Now if hes on windows it should also work too. He has to now download hamachi login then he must login (lol). Tell him to create a nickname. Once he has it, you have to make a network. (name the network when creating it and i suggest making a pass. Then easily tell him the net name, and pass and then he clicks join and all done hes connected to hamachi.

But thats only connecting to hamachi.

I have opened the ports on my router, &c. but the World & Realmlist ports still appear closed in eMux ever after a few restarts, etc. I have also tried dyndns, which worked - but didn't solve the port problem. Also, if I use this remote IP address for MY wow client, will it still work? I would think it should, but am unsure. Thanks, anyway have any suggestions?

Open finder and search world.conf open it and look up the world file accname and pw and port. enter all this into navicate and viola it works.
