@LegalizeProductions I've got both. What kind of a sound are you looking for? they're completely different pedals. I use the RC booster as an EQ after this pedal. This is nice but is seems to cut out high end and low end when ever it's on. Some people don't mind this, but I play in a 3 piece where I want to have as open of a sound as possible. Fortunately, the RC booster's treble and bass knobs control the exact frequencies this pedal seems to for go. The R.C. is not a gain pedal. This is.
Low gain overdrive. I have the V1 with a JRC072BD, i like the tone, very useful.
The tone pot is too much subtle for my taste, but it's a very good product for the money. The V1 is darker than the Silver, SR, or V2, for me , the best choice.
are you running any kind of extra compression for this demo? like a keeley in the chain or anything? It's getting that vintage-y compression sound a little bit. Sounds nice.
So, is it really transparent, to the point it adds only crunch to the sound of the amp, without any color? I wanted to add saturation to my amp, a hot rod deluxe, cause even when it's really loud, it's not that crunchy. But I would not want to mess with the sound between the guitar and the amp.
@marcelcruzeiro If you are completely satisfied with the sound of your guitar, where you don't want that little bit of fattening that the LTD gives, then the LTD SR might do the job. Look it up .
guys i need opinions, this or the rc booster?

@marcelcruzeiro It is very transparent, but seems to thicken the high strings a bit.
