While it is nice to have it back, I think it's a sorry excuse for music that is supposed to "remind us of the classic tracks."

Hey, let's write some electronica music, but use the Sonic 1 snare! Then it will remind everyone of the old music! (Not to say it's bad at all, I just wish that someday we get an album, homebrewed or not, of chiptune versions of the game's soundtrack.)
