''Muhammad: His life based on the earliest sources'' is meant to be a good book. I havent personally read it yet, but sheykh Hamza Yusuf quotes that this is the best english seerah that hes read, and trust me, he knows his books lol

bro, if you've got nothing good to say then keep it to yourself. He's said himself that he's not a sufi and I've got no reason at all to think his a liar. He's inspired many people to return to Islam, and is representing Islam in the West in a great and noble way. I'm honestly sick of people telling me Hamza Yusuf is this and that. All a load of lies, so keep it to yourself. If there was a khalifa today my vote would go to him.

Sorry but what's your level of Islamic education compared to his? His studied with some of the greatest sheykhs in the muslim world of today, including in Mauritania, and has licence from them to teach.

Anyway, the onus is on you to give me specific instances of him being a deviant, not just send me a video.

Bro, Ive seen those videos countless times, your not the first one to send them to me. And you don't know about the teaching tradition of Mauritania? It's one of the few places that still teaches Islam in the traditional way and many great scholars have studied there, Im surprised you haven't heard of it. As for telling me what he said about asharis etc. send me the full video so I can get the full context.
