  • does anyone know the title of this specific vivaldi aria???

  • @enjolras1983 It's "Sonno, se pur sei sonno" from Vivaldi's Tito Manlio. Hope that helps. Cheers

  • @prionse thanx a lot! :-)

  • did anyone understand the words?

  • Another wonder by DG/ARCHIV

  • not only an amazing sound, they did a great job with the video too. She looks better in this, than any other video on youtube.

  • The wonderful Czech ! Great Kozena!

  • Sin J. S. Bach y A. L. Vivaldi, no se que hubiese pasado con la música. Hermosa interpretación de la maestra.

  • Great Magdalena!!

  • I like the video, it projects solitude and intimacy in what is often a lonely setting, and reflects the forces of nature which Vivaldi's music profoundly compliments.

  • Buy this recording..it really is wonderful..

    I ♡ Magdalena Kozena.....

    ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

  • She is really good in these dramatic arias...

  • As far as album promotion videos go, this is pretty weak . I would've preferred to see the actual recording sessions in the promo video. But Kozena's singing here is first rate. She has such a gorgeous voice. I am looking forward to listening to this new Vivaldi album. She's one of my favorite mezzos. I also like Venice Baroque Orchestra a lot.

  • Indeed Imspr. Just fell over another promo video where Magdalena (at least) talks about recording session:

  • Strange comment.

If you dont know: Netrebko is romantic soprano, and Kozena is baroque mezzo.

  • LOL, your comment is so ridiculous that it's actually really funny!

  • are you an imbecile, or merely an idiot?

  • @mondayblues5 What did you hear that makes you believe she is "trying to copy" Netrebko? Or do you just like Netrebko a lot? In all honesty I think their voices are very different indeed.

  • @mondayblues5

mondayblues5 must be totally deaf, or mentally challenged, or he/she just hasn't listened enough classical music or opera singers..... keep listening to blues......
