I thought there was some data that gets messed up in the rom, and you edit it in a hex editor to get it working again...anyway, great hack so far, I look forward to the finished product, also, the text editor in Double helix never works for me...what do you use?
i use the Double Helix text editor, i didnt get it either but i figured that its pretty easy to use onece u know how it works.
when u use the text editor, do u see the tfollowing: [RAW 0x40]-- this means space [NEWLINE]-- yeah.. [END]-- this is at the end of all the text. [Color6]-- just change the number to another to change text color i hope this helped.
nice, unfortunatly, this hack is long dead. i still know how to do all the tile editing and such, and how to expand rooms, but i havent hacked in months.
the reason this hack is gone is because it too got corrupted and i got tired of hacking. but i might start hacking again just to see what i come up with. thx for the invite =D
No problem, if it gets corrupted, just get an unedited rom, and then open both roms in a hex editor, then copy and paste the first few lines of hex from the unedited one, into the edited one.

Thankyou, also, I now have the first room looking like a room from Metroid Fusion, with what I think are leftover tiles from it.
