Blade runner is one of my favourites. but funny enough i hate every version of the film apart from 'Final cut' which i hold dear to my collection.

dont forget Alien. :) the way i always looked at it, bladerunner was kind of (to me) what was going on, on earth while Alien was going on in space. it always felt like that to me..

I'm wondering if you have played the Blade Runner video game. I thought it was actually very good and very faithful to the BR world. It is not a a retreading of the movie story though, it' is it's own story set sometime before the movie I belive.

I have indeed! and I agree, it really felt like you were IN the world of the movie. The story actually occurs a bit before, and parallel to the movie. Some of the characters form the movie even have cameos (or full scenes), played by the same actors!
