the vanguard of capitalistism reaches out far and wide, big and small, even the yanomami knows how to do business... they use fear as their weapon and when you compare that, the fear strategy, to a corperate world- capitalistic society is the same rule of engagement. Stand strong and resist their demands... lol that sucks they left
How much money would the movie or the documentary had made if the footage/tapes had no been taken away??? Everyone sees the Indians and its Chief as monsters....but think for a minute, put yourself in their shoes...how many more years of suffering and not having anything should they stand??? It's just something to think about. I REALLY ENJOYED THE MINI FILM!!! Great job, i wish you would have worked with all the footage recorded. I was born in Venezuela and now a proud American.
wow... what a movie... it has left a big impression on me. The atmosphere, both sides of the camera, the facts and fears... About tribes, tourism, comercialisation and the small documentary maker (like myself). Amazing. Good luck with future projects!
the fact that our modern day society is based on material obcession, when any yanomami demanded or took things from you; just poise the fact of nothing is permanent, that he f*cking with you and molesting your inner most fear which is being left with nothing, that possesion is not important but life itself and who wound't be afraid to lose their life, when your hundreds of miles away from your precious city
