You can ask Xian directly on twitter @xianmsg or take my amateurish explanation. Xian uses last hit on HK Gekiro for untechable down if he can. He usually does this after Super juggle, or BnB on large characters. The target combo is best ended with lk. gekiro because it has the best hit box and rarely misses (though I've seen it whiff on ducking cammy/blanka). Xian sometimes forgoes the last hit of lk Gekiro to get better oki timing, especially on characters without an invincible uppercut.

IN 2012 Roundhouse and Ex Gekiro last hit scores a hard Knockdown so you don't have to stop you Gekiro before the last hit unless you are using light or medium Gekiro. So at the first Gekiro maybe he used small Gekiro which is sometimes a necessity since light and medium versions of Gekiro have more reach. On the last miss ( the one on the Ex gekiro ) you can get a safe jump too if you do the whole Gekiro.

P.S You people insulting Tobias should seriously grow up.
