Personally, I've never thought my accent was broad. I know people who sound more Scottish. However, other non-Scottish people have said to me that it is.
Never heard this before but it takes me back to my childhood in Glasgow's east end (Calton) in the 60's. "Dreeping aff the dykes" LOL that sounds like something sexual nowadays. Playing headies in closes, although I have to admit I don't remember too many of them being clean.
"The games a bogey , the mans in the lobby , come out come out where ever you are"
God it really takes me back so thanks for the memories, signed
Haha! Yeah I quite liked that bit.. thank you.. I equally like your accent too, I have a bit of a thing for English and Irish accents.. you should hear my English accent attempt.. it's hilariously bad.
lol! It's funny that. I kinda feel the same.. I never felt my accent was distinctive or broad.. but when you hear yourself and you get the reactions from other people, who start to relise that yes it's quite broad haha.
LOL! I told her the same thing... not in those words. But she was awesome enough to send me a translation. Thing is I love to hear it anyway! Surprisingly I still understand a bit of it! :)

I don't really get in touch with that side of my family much, my mum and dad got divorced a long time ago and I don't really see my dad much.

Yea... you catch bits and peices, but the translation really helped. It catches your attention and you just HAVE to keep listening. Love it! :-D
