It's fairly obvious that Harry Potter is similar to TWW, but it's hardly a revelation that HP is unoriginal in this way.

HP has archetypal ideas in common with hundreds of other works of fiction - the nasty, school-bound nemesis, the loyal best friend, the wise and kind teacher and the vindictive one... of course JKR didn't invent these elements, but then neither did Jill Murphy.
