Great! I held a package of chia seeds in my hand at the health food store some days ago, but I did not know what I could do with them, so I put them back. Now I know what to do, and I look forward to try them! Actually I think this will be a great replacement for "pudding/porridge" that have been a favourite of mine since childhood! Thank you!
@meloearth chia is native american it originates from mexico and is found all over the united states and sometimes grows natuarally in many places vesides mexico.

Chia grows wild in Utah and Nevada as well as Central America.

Chia are not a Native American plant, as far as I know. I think they are from S. America.
