The air fillter I have a problem with, the rest of it I could care less about. some people are gonna use their trucks hard like we do, sometimes stuff gets bent, tangled, or just flat ripped off. if you're gonna try for the title of toughest truck, then they better be able to handle it. that's why we run chevys. I diesel teched for caterpillar for a few years before going back to the family business,I've seen my share of abuse. fix it and move on, it's just a pickup.

Looks to me the truck may have been stolen and the video was being made for insurance purposes. This happened to my fathers truck as well. Stolen by Mexicans then recovered in Arizona . No excuse for this. I am no Dodge fan (I am a Cummins fan), but I don't care. This is criminal abuse with a side order of first class neglect. I own a truck. I use it hard and it shows. There are dents and dings, but nothing like this. You can work a truck very hard and not have it look close to this bad. I use my truck to do road calls, pull stumps, tow heavy trailers, haul heavy loads, and pull stuck equipment out of the mud. It's got 300,000 miles and it still runs like a charm!
I work at a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge dealership a town over and...lets just say that we see this scenerio a lot. Idiots think that because they have a big 4x4 pickup that they can run the dog piss out of it and expect the dealer or company to cover the cost of any damages that not only MIGHT come, but WILL come as a result of abuse. @toyoracing89 I am looking for a used dodge diesel 4x4, I think they are the best, but I wonder why so many(with less than 150,000 mi.) have rebuilt transmissions and new fuel pump, etc? Maybe they are not so good? I own a 97 landcruser 170,000mi, and never had to fix anything. Maybe dodge has good motors but weak transmissions? I think that a first gen. would be more realible because it has less electronics, but it's hard to find a 91-93 with low miles.

Abuse. Deny the warranty. If any one thinks they should honor the warranty as a few posted, let me pour muddy water into your air intake and see what tune you sing than. The radiator appears split, the front frame rail where the bumper attached is slightly split, the exhaust, the wiring harness. Unacceptable. There is no way you can possibly justify this.

Looks to me the truck may have been stolen and the video was being made for insurance purposes. This happened to my fathers truck as well. Stolen by Mexicans then recovered in Arizona . When recovered video taken by insurance co. Notice plates on truck is from Texas. Just saying. Being a Dodge....I bet it will still start right up.....

Why no warranty. You see all advertising doing all kind of thing like pulling over loaded trailers through off road conditions, mud, snow, hills, rocks. Now when a person does it he loose the warranty. HE Should sue dodge for false adverting. As far as the empty beer in the back he either picking up the litter or GM put it there to deny the warranty.

I dont see anything wrong with the truck besides, the dirty airfilter that looks like it got wet. The underside of the truck just looks dirty to me.. Nothing that a good carwash on the underside wont clean up... I see the barb wires on the axle .. But so what ? You honestly think a little wire is gonna hurt the axle ?

@1ownjoo2 cut the exhaust off. wiring harnes half ripped off. ran into something froma pretty much all sides. no brakes, ruined the rotors, airfilter was destroyed, all that dirt is now in the motor.. ripped off mirror. any thing else, def abused

Take them to court dealer has NO RIGHT to void a warranty unless they have proof that the malfunction was intentional other wise there breaking the law, look it up, greedy pricks. No excuse for this. I am no Dodge fan (I am a Cummins fan), but I don't care. This is criminal abuse with a side order of first class neglect. I own a truck. I use it hard and it shows. There are dents and dings, but nothing like this. You can work a truck very hard and not have it look close to this bad. I use my truck to do road calls, pull stumps, tow heavy trailers, haul heavy loads, and pull stuck equipment out of the mud. It's got 300,000 miles and it still runs like a charm!

I work at a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge dealership a town over and...lets just say that we see this scenerio a lot. Idiots think that because they have a big 4x4 pickup that they can run the dog piss out of it and expect the dealer or company to cover the cost of any damages that not only MIGHT come, but WILL come as a result of abuse. Idiots need to take better care of their trucks.

@toyoracing89 I am looking for a used dodge diesel 4x4, I think they are the best, but I wonder why so many(with less than 150,000 mi.) have rebuilt transmissions and new fuel pump, etc? Maybe they are not so good? I own a 97 landcruser 170,000mi, and never had to fix anything. Maybe dodge has good motors but weak transmissions? I think that a first gen. would be more realible because it has less electronics, but it's hard to find a 91-93 with low miles.

I agree its been abused, but hell..thats what they are made for!! I have a 05 Ram Laramie edition and I use it for what it was made/intended for..WORK!! I don't have a straight panel anywhere on it, holes all over the place, the cleanest thing on it is the rear drivers tail light. My wife won't even look at it

I was a tech at Ford dealers for a long time and would see this on trucks too! We voided warranties on many trucks from abuse like this. It is really sad someone would beat a truck this bad. This is beyond working it!!!!

i have had a little wire around my axel but in an hour or two after im done working on fence its off and the mud in the air box WTF i have been in the mud i have even hit muddy water as deep as my front bumper and i havent done that to a filter its called a check up you dont pay for it just walk around your truck after a stupid move to make sure nothings wrong or nothing needs to be replaced
