  • so hot .....

  • Can you show us how to fry a perfect steak?

  • Nice man. I liked this video and your tips..

  • P.S: Well.... your recipe it's not so bad. I investigated some videos and there are worst :-S

  • @patrickdrake I'm from Barcelona, dude. Are you going to tell me how to cook a Spanish tortilla? come on!!. Potatoes, eggs, onion, olive oil and salt, this is all that you need. Anyway, you can find at YouTube several authentic recipes from Spanish people (audio in Spanish, English subs). I'm sorry, but youtube doesn't allow link in the answers. Another solution, come to Spain, and you will see the difference :-D

  • Sooo hot

  • that looks amazing!

  • Looks fantastic, I'm sure it will taste great too! And nothing sexier than a handsome man with a hot accent cooking :)

  • excellent

  • tortilla? thats a whole pie!

  • excellent spanish omelette pat, 10 out of 10, good idea with the chorizo, maybe some cheese ontop i know its not the tradition but be nice haha cheers man.

  • The chorizo is a nice touch. Give it more punch into the omellete.

  • That looked like a pretty good spanish omelette. Just a little improvement: the potatoes should be cut in "cubes" rather than slices, thats the usual way to do it in Spain.

  • Nothing more sexy that a man cooking !

  • I've never seen such a way of preparing it. and I've seen my share of tortillas being made. interesting stuff. Not very traditional, potatoes and onions (and peppers) usually get cooked all together spreading their flavors deliciously. Salt should get added to that while it cooks--too much salt and it'll turn to rubbish! Otherwise, good lookin stuff.

  • Thats probably the best I've seen, and it actually turns out nice and thick as opposed to some of the flat pancake ones getting around on YT.

I find that the potatos and onion are better off blanched together in the pan rather than deep fried (soft, but not crisp), other than that, the only thing I hadnt learned b4 was to oil the dish plate... my frying pan is a stick one, so it had a tendency for part of the omellete to stick :( But otherwise turns out well :)

  • He is so cute... Marry me!!!

  • nice tortilla to be english!the potatoes are misscutted...but anyway it looks perfect!congrats!!try some asparagus on it,delicious...

  • Hey Smartsis ! Yes I should have mentioned - I just cut the peppers into strips and then fried them off in some olive oil first... the recipe is actually inspired by one of my favourite Spanish restaurants in London called Brindisa - its in Borough Market which is a London foodie Mecca ! Hope you enjoy it :-)

  • Did you cook the peppers at all before hand?

  • That looks excellent and I'm going to make it for my wife tonight.

    Thank you for doing this.

    Best Wishes,

    Brendan

  • Thought the worst at the beginning but pretty good presentation by the end.. I may ever get around to trying that out as it looked delicious. I don't eat meat though so I wonder if it may need a little more salt..

  • great recipe. luv it. spanish tortillas are my FAV.

  • nice flip......

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • I love your spanish omelette!!!!!!!!! I am a spanish girl living in Canada, and, if you do not mind I am sending your spanish omelette video to my friends here, because they are always asking me for the recipe.
