Jeep Sport 2004 Shifter Qick Fix

I went to the dealer today and was quoted the absurd sum of $490 USD to replace the entire thing, after their "mechanic" reviewed my problem (I couldn't get out of park mode).

I always find these things suspicious so I told them I'd check it out myself and come back if needed.

Then I ran into your video and lo and behold, this is what the issue was.

So... thank you for saving me a week worth of my pay check!
