Since master quest wasn't in the original game, it's not part of the tradition, therefore it's okay to never even play it, or even consider highlighting the option, because there is no difficulty in zelda, and there never should be, the game is hard enough anyway, plus link is right handed in the 3ds version and everything is mirrored, you call that an original? (twilight princess had the exception, seeing as how it's Wii version has to be mirrored to accommodate right handed motion controls.)

Actually, this was a Pre-order bonus, for pre-ordering Wind Waker. It was a disc with OoT both Original and Master Quest (which is believed to be the never before released Zelda OOT 64DD version) and came with trailers to upcoming Gamecube games at the time.

It is not a remake, but it is a face lifted version with more difficult puzzles, more enemies, stronger as well. Required a master of the original version to play it, not a newcomer. Hence the name, Master Quest.

I've been playing Master quest, just finished the Fire temple, and let me tell ya, It's sooo damn easy is unbelieveable, much much easier then the original, you can skip a major part in the fire temple and the dungon inside lord jaba jaba was just so easy compared to the original, you don't have to pick up Princess Ruto hardly whereas in the original you had to move her all over the place. Just me when I say this, alot of the major puzzle have been replaced or even skipped.

There arent any gamecube emulators that work well, theres one that some games work other doesnt but IT DOESNT HAS SOUND and a Zelda game without sound is unplayable. Also most emulators dont recognize analog sticks so an anolog controller is pretty much useless unless it has two d-pads, and I have yet to see a controller with two D-pads...

Gamecubes are beging sold on ebay for like 30$ or even less.

The Zelda ocarina of time:master quest is an unreleased N64 NDD title you fucktard! theres no N64 version of this game, idiot! the game was supposed to be release as a NDD carttrige but the NDD attachment for the N64 was never released on America or Europe and the game was never released. the only way to play this game is with a gamecube and the extra disk of the special edition of Zelda the Wind waker.

Clean the disc with some alcahol and a soft tissue, if it still doesn't work return it to who ever you bought it from on ebay and get your money back. I have one for sale on ebay that works perfect, my stores name is P-TINGLEZ

we own a PAL machine, and this is a NTSC disk.

the disk is perfectly clean, with no scratches.

we're having the exact same response (cant read disk) on the Wii...(also a PAL machine)..

the disk you have, is it a USA disk? or a EURO disk?

well u might be out of luck... try dampening the disk with a wet paper towel then buffer it gently with a wet tissue or paper towel make sure the toothpaste doesnt have grains in it or you will make it worse

just install the homebrew channel irs free so u dont have to buy a free loader, once you install homebrew get the Gecko application and it lets u play games region free.

Did you know that Ocarina of Time is a CD based game converted to a cartridge? Masterquest is also a remake of OoT on the N64DD, but ported to the gamecube alongside the original N64 version (with updates, like the green blood in the later N64 versions, new Mirror Shield, and the text is slightly altered. The Gerudo doesn't say "Try AGAIN", King Zora knows less about Ruto's location, and the blue laughing guy's text isn't glitchy.)
