Yup, I'm a Halo fanboy, Just look at my list of my favorite FPS to see how much of a Halo fanboy I am. 1. Half-Life 2. Starsiege Tribes 3. System Shock 2 4. Crysis 5. Dues Ex 6. Counter-Strike 7. Halo CE 8. Quake II 9. Marathon 10. Dooom See, I think Halo is the best game ever made.

Halo is basically mostly crying and pubescent 14 year olds playing it. It's the most overrated game of all time, most likely. That's basically a fact. It hasn't done much to innovate, every level is RIDICULOUSLY linear and you basically walk around in circles the entire time. Online is kinda fun... I guess... but there are much better online games.
I've played the Halo games, and I thought it was fun, but it didn't blow my mind like it did to so many people around me. I won't say it bad or terrible, but its not exellent. Hands down most overrated games series of all time. BTW, that was a great review hjcapela.
i can see how it's overated after hearing my little sis' frend sayin 'its the best game EVER!'. my faves are duke nukem 3d, half life, counter strike, quake 2, golden eye, ghost recon, rainbow six but still think halo 3 is an awesome game and have played nearly 2000 online games. i also prefer console gaming to pc so much. i only now use my pc for strategy and occasssional rpg. i just find a controller more fun and a console more fun. pcs are just too needy and office like and buggy.
Yeah I agree with you. It is as if the halo fans are brain washed or something, and that I am the only sain person left. I mean yes the story is very good great, but the game play and PvP sucks balls and is nothing new...
To me Halo is a game that u play to get you ready for Counter Strike or Battle Field. Or for the nuty gamers, Gunz the duel.

The reason why its overrated is because halo 1 was the begging of the story to halo 2 then halo 3. The ending of the story, most people love it because of the story.
