@bisaf11 unlike you wanted to believe only sultan or sultans advisors had harems not youngturk officials and espicially not Djemal Pasha. instead youngturks made a law able to made woman divorce from their husbands whenever they want, let women to join meetings with men. this had been one of the reason of arab revolt and used as "Turks don't obey islam. they are no longer muslims." for propoganda. for Turkish nationalism it had been a law to use Turkish for foreigners like british french.

First of all the arabs had a reason to work with the French and the British.The reason was that the Arabs were living in hell and were treated like dirt from the ottoman leaders who didn't serve islam but only the Turkish nationalism. The Turkish rulers had things like harems how on earth could they have been islamic. En plus if the Ottomans hadn't treated the Arabs like dogs then the Arabs would have sticked to the Ottomans of course.

there are is only one group of people who liked the Othomas caliphate, the turks themselves and not even all of them . you forget to say how they treat the other "Muslim" brothers as second class citizens or even slaves. the ottomans also sign alliances selling others when fit their interests , it was not an empire based on faith it was based on power and domination. colonialism doesn't become better if you change its religion it's same in all cases.

Ottoman empire was dying with or without Arabs. all nations under ottoman control were revolting and hitting them from all sides. Moreover the caliphate was doom to fail as corruption was eating its soul. the sultans were coming to power by killing their own brothers each one with different mothers coming from endless harems. the problem was the caliphate itself not the Arabs. what happen with the Arabs afterwards is due to their incapacity of thinking as nations instead as tribes.

I myself belong to a country slave to the Americans, namely Pakistan. The same country which fought for their Afghan brothers against Russia, gave refuge to Millions of Afghans in their own country like brothers is today killing the same Afghans and is the "MOST ALLIED ALLY" of America.
