Mary Kate & Ashley are identical because they were..both from the same egg..same sperm..same dna& blood.

Even in my own family, I can't think of a better example of two kids taking on the personalities of ONE of their parents.

Mady is 100% like Kate--Type A/take-charge, assertive, moody, but essentially good-hearted.

Cara is 100% like Jon--easy-going, sports-minded, tends to keep feelings bottled up, instructive, and very kind and affectionate.

They're both a lot of fun to watch. Love seeing how they interact with the sextuplets. They're more like day-care instructors than sisters.

When they were 8 years old, they did an interview and informed the world that they are indeed fraternal twins. I couldn't believe it at first because I can't tell the two of them apart, but after seeing thier little sister Lizzie, I now have the hardest time telling the three of them apart! All their siblings have that same look...but Lizzie could be their triplet!

No, they aren't identical. You can't be identical but look different lol. Mady & Cara are fraternal twins. Cara is taller, with lighter hair and a differently shaped face. They were not identical when they were babies, it was very hard to tell them apart mostly due to the Korean in them, it is harder to spot differences between asian babies, ESPECIALLY between twins; not identical ones.
