Sad to be mixing a bunch of silly occult nonsense and Hard Rock greensleeves into the end of this. Disrespectful of a most beautiful and sacred place. Im sad to see that... And it also shows that the church is now open to all kinds of foolishness. Sad times.
raise money, and in the process much of the "sacred feeling" of the place has been lost with silly little tables with handouts and such. I was saddened that under such majesty, foolishness was happening. Im also saddened that the Catholic church would abandon such an incredible masterpiece in a depressed community. St. Ann's was once central to the social life of Woonsocketonians. It is full of memories.
I live in Woonsocket - the funeral services for my grandfather were at St. Ann's. Sad story about St. Ann's. The Catholic Dioscese in the area "unloaded" this church. Its in the hands of a non-profit that cant afford its upkeep... There was even talk of tearing it down. Because there have been issues with heating it, the frescoes are starting to deteriorate due to extremes of temperature and humidity. The nonprofit has been holding all kinds of non-worship events there to try to...
It is a magnificent place-- a real hidden treasure. I'm not sure about the stained glass, though. I think it was made at one of the famous studios in Chartres in France.
Sca-a-a-a-r-r-y! maybe just because it reminds me of that year I spent living at a Christian boarding school. Nice teaser.. looking forward to the investigation vid now.
Wow John/Fran, You really captured the SPIRIT of the once former Church, and of the overnight that was spent their. Great Job, perfect music.... although that Munk was creapy looking (sorry Charles). Is Franks Music Box similar to Frans Theatre?

Stunningly beautiful church! All those frescoes, my GOD ( pardon my pun ) Really good video you all, really like the music choices too ( esp. the music box ..lol )
@hauntedartists I failed to mention (there's so much history and trivia tied up in this place) that the same artist that did all the frescoes also did all the stained glass as well. Stained glass was his forte. Also every single face in the paintings is of the locals...people who lived then or continue to live in Woonsocket, RI. Simply amazing!
Pretty!!! I like it. Dr. Lockjaw

@boggywoman
You are sad, because you have to hid behind a sock account to express yourself.
Since your not on the inside, you don't know what their trying to do. Sad.
Be Well
