  • So...all he has to say about education deals with homeschoolers? Nothing about our current education system and how it can be reformed to let ALL Americans with potential get the education they deserve?

  • I've been a homeschooler since preschool. My parents are devout creationists, and wanted to teach me the truth. It's awesome that Tancredo support us homeschoolers.

  • Weird

  • Did Candidate Tancredo just spend 1:23 telling us about all of the things he DID that either DIDN'T PASS or were only SPARRINGLY ACCEPTED? While COMPLETELY AVOIDING anything of substance regarding any plans he has to reform education? We have a less charismatic Ronald Reagan on our hands, people.

  • I don't think that creationism and evolution are mutually exsclusive. Unless you take the biblical account of genisis exactley literally.

  • If security from Mass money stops crime why have there been over 200 murders in the city of Philadelphia in the first 6 months? Because police are too busy harrassing US citizens over parking tickets and having click it or ticket laws. Some "high quality" police. This will end under Ron Paul and police, bounty hunters, and special forces will stop criminals not harrass us.

  • Bounty hunters is that it? Having high quality police force. Security from mass money is an easy way to stop crime. Terrorists inside our own country.

  • Is someone honostly saying that parents can't teach their kids creationism?

And you know, evolution as it relates to the human species (which I support btw) never comes up on any kinds of tests or anything in public school, why should it at homeschooling?

And as a general question, what scientific advancements have come as a result of the theory of evolution as it realates to human beings? What would a biologist use that information to do exactly?

  • I'm against evolution. God created.

  • Tancredo supports home schooling as a Trojan horse to allow teaching of creationism.

  • Huh??? So what?

  • I'm glad to see him speak on other topics and to continue to represent the conservative American.

He represents the best interests of the liberal American as well although "they" don't realize it yet!

    :P

  • How so?

  • Liberals have an incorrect world view (obviously, right?) but just don't realize it. Tancredo will represent all of America and once the liberal figures out the truth, they will appreciate Tancredo as much as conservatives do.

  • Tom Tancredo is fast becoming my hero. My family is peppered with teachers and would not be able to get a job today because they were not bilingual. Our daughter, a certified teacher in Houston, will be homeschooling our granddaughter partly because the public school system is cramming the gay agenda down our throats. We want our jobs back, our hospitals back, our language and culture back! Tancredo '08!

  • Perhaps it's time for Congressman Tom Tancredo to consider running for the Senate seat in Colorado? July 2nd was the 3-month mark in his campaign however it seems likely voters are going to be increasingly focused on those candidates who raised the most campaign funds.

  • See what happens in straw vote next month. You might be supprised

  • So far Tancredo has all this talent and potential but has said that he wants to keep his A+ rating from some right-wing groups more than becoming President or Senator from Colorado. He has now a few months to think about that, because it's going to get very lonely in New Hampshire in particular if he doesn't change his positions on the environment. If you go to teamtancredo(dotcom) you will see that Tancredo has NO position on the environment. He is very proud of that no doubt.

  • Tancredo could if he wanted to generate LOTS of favorable publicity in New Hampshire by becoming the first presidential candidate to meet with wildlife researchers who are studying the effect of mercury pollution on wildlife. New England has huge problems with mercury pollution from mid-west power plants that burn coal.

Eagles in inland areas of New Hampshire essentially can't raise chicks because the fish and eels from New England lakes are too polluted with mercury.

  • Well, upgrade anti-pollution methods. Add more earth friendly forms of generating energy. Solar and wind power.

  • 70AMX, Thanks sincerely for the word of encouragement!

  • This guy is very very electable! He can easily beat the top 3! What a great bench the GOP have! What is that clown Ron Paul even doing on the Rep ticket dont they have a Peyote Party for him?
