I'm a Cat's supporter but really feel for the Saints. They were the better team on the day and would have won the game if not for some individual brilliance by the legend Paul Chapman. After losing the Grand Final again this year I actually feel devestated for Saint's supporters and their great players like Hayes and Goddard. I love this so much, it brings back so many memories. I honestly don't care that Geelong wern't in the big game this year, they have played amazing footy in the past 4 years. To the people that say the era is over, because of the prelim loss and loss of Gary Ablett Jnr, it's not. Because, Collingwood were simply too good this year and Geelong had to go the tired way to the prelim.So what if Gazza's gone, his choice, his future, not a light decison. Geelong all the way.

Disappointing to hear a fine commentator like Tim Lane will ST KILDA on to win with comments like '1 point..could it happen again' and the reference to '66 points (1966) and Walls not much better..although they both eventually fell in love with GEELONG at games end...Give Steve Quartermain a go in 2011 ..other than that Channel 10 deserves it contract with AFL as it shows respect for the game more than Channel 7 (and certainly Channel nine from years ago).
