  • Great tro listen to one of the best.

  • haha i was there

  • an the judges wife said.....let the man go free, lol frank you go ahead!! ty for your music

  • 6:20 Guitar JEDI

  • Was at this concert! Frank is totally underated!!!!

  • Frank would have been better If he would have not thought he was Hendrix. Great player I just never thought he found himself.

  • @dlhoffer uhhh ... huh uhhhh .... Pal, I think it's YOU who thinks he was Hendrix... I would not presume to know another's mind. Hendrix after all DID find himself - in a puddle of his own puke... what a guy...

  • aah yes...the 1920's ...what a time

  • Frank is simply incredible. I saw him once many years ago with his brother Vince and those guys where mind blowing.

  • Damn Frank is so skilled..... His playing and guitar tone was so sweet. SG with p-90s a huge array of pedals and whatever amps he decided to use.

  • niiiiiiice

  • One of the reasons Frank just kicked butt at many of these concerts, is that he wasn't all effed up like many of his contemporaries. He came to play. Some others did too, but don't have a 1/4 of his chops, do they? Far too many succumbed to drugs, drink and easy women. They got too hung up on being "rock stars."

  • great song, awesome slideshow!

  • This is fantastic! love his blues touch, with a little Stormy Monday in there in the turnaround, love it!

  • Great post!!! I remember clearly the afternoon I listened to that terrific piece in a friend 's place in the late 70's ,and the instant I heard these wonderful phrases at 3.00 ...made me aware of the beauty of jazz phrasing!!!l In my opinion, Frank Marino is one of the most incredible player on the planet !!!!!

  • @martimax34 I checked out the tune...he laid down one pass on some jazz inflections, but that was the extent of his jazz phrasing...any rock guy can memorize a few licks of jazz...but let's hear him hang on 40 minutes of jazz before you bow to his jazz sensibilites

  • @Chromatype Frank does tons of jazz check out his catalogue

  • @Chromatype Frank plays at so many levels and you think he'd be lost in a 2 5 1 progression? I'd be scared out of my pants if he chose to play giant steps lol

  • @martimax34 look at my post 7 months ago lol

  • This was one incredibly good concert

  • I grew up on this

  • I miss CalJam-era rock SO MUCH!!!

  • whoa......feelin 2:45-5:15....turn it UP y'all.

  • Well, you can learn to play guitar, almost anyone can. You just can't play like THAT.

  • makes me wanna play guitar

  • Thnx for posting this great tune by Frank, always a great show!

    5+*****!

  • Listen to this masterpiece lick from 3:00 - 3:13 mins of this song, then the simulation of a hammond b3 organ at 3:22 - 3:55. At 5:17 through out the ending is where i creamed my jeans.

  • Can You DIG IT!!!
