  • Hi is tromso a part of trondheim?

  • @nybiatch85 No. Absolutely not!

  • @nybiatch85 Tromsø and Trondheim are two separate cities!

  • Bra musikkvalg og fine bilder! :)

  • @GirlWhoNeverGrowUp Takk for det! =)

  • Nice to see midnight sun pictures from Norway by the sea. Cool pics.

  • Beautiful pictures, but what it fails to show, is that during night it could look just as bright as during daytime.

  • I loves to sleep at night during the midnight sun as it is still daylight around 12am. :-) I lives in Florida, and I never experienced one in my life :-(

  • lol id rather be awake and at the beach or doing something much more fun then sleeping during a midnight sun lol! of course i never exprienced it either.its only a lovely dream.glad i can see them here on videos.

  • Lovely...

I've always wanted to live in the arctic for some reason.

  • Thx forus..i enjoyed the music...

  • hope next summer i witness it in person..can anyone tell a bit about the song n singer?

  • Singer is Mr. Lage Fosheim (born 1958) in the Norwegian pop group The Monroes, and the other member of this group is Mr. Eivind Rølles (born 1959). The songs are first "Cheerio", then "Wish you were here".

  • wow so sieht das aus DANKE

Die Mitternachtssonne scheint vom Norden stimmt das?

wow so looks that Thank you

The midnightsun is shining from the north is that all right?

  • Thanx for comment, krebsandi! In Tromsø, where this pic's are from, midnight sun appears from May 19 - July 22. It is a wonderful sight! Welcome to have a trip! =)

  • To your question: The real midnight sun point of time is precisely at 00:00 midnight, but of course; it is the same sune all day long, so up there we use to call it "midnight sun" from about late evening till late night...

  • Hi forus!!

    Beautiful prictures!! Congrats!!

I have a question for you, during midnight sun is there cold or hot weather in Norway?

    Thanks!!

  • its not hot its maybe 20C

  • Thx for comment! First of all; midnight sun only appears north (or south of) of Polar Circle, located at a latitude of 66˚ 33' 38". In Tromsø, where these pics are from, midn.sun appears from ca May 18 - July 25. Average temp in Tromsø May 2009 was 7,1˚, June 8,2˚ and July 12,6˚. Max temp same period was respectively 16,4˚/18,6˚/24,8˚. Hope this was informative! Still have a nice day! =)

  • thank you so much for the information!! :D

  • @joancamo

What @forus said, it extremely accurate

  • this is happening right now there pretty awesome

  • It's a wonderful video!

  • what an excellent video! Great work! Hope to visit Norway someday...

  • Nice scene and the music, very relaxing. I dig;)

  • this september I'm going to Norway, to my girlfriend...I hope I can see it too...

    this video is really nice!!!

  • You need to visit in June (or July or May perhaps) to see the sun this high at midnight trust me. In September, the sun is nearly back over the Southern Hemisphere again. (21st Sept is the Autumn equinox).

  • dude, you need to see it in July ideally to see it like that

    Not almost in winter

  • did u actually read what you were commenting on?

  • wait... never mind

  • Fantastisk! Som balsam for sjelen :-)

  • Thank you :) This is awesome

  • I've never heard this song before. The guitar solo at 2:30 reminds me of another band, possibly Night Ranger. Funny, NR had a good song with similar theme called Goodbye. Also, the NR Goodbye video starts out with a similar sunshot as on here.

  • im from southern CA, USA

  • so this only happens twice a year or something? All the way up North?

  • Hello again vidfreak727! I don't know where u live, but you may heard of the Polar Circle? North of this circle sun never goes beneath horizon in summertime, and never goes above horizon in wintertime.

  • These periods varies of how far from the circle you are. Close to the circle = short period, far from = long period. Between these periods there are nights and days just as everywhere else. In Norway the Polar Circle passes in Nordland county, North Norway. There is also such a polar circle around the Antarctic continent.

  • so theres always light over there huh? I guess I should visit to take a closer look myself! looks awesome!

  • Hello vidfreak727, thx for the comment! There is not always sunlight over here :-), for example from November 20 till January 20 sun never rises above horizon...

  • I must travel to Norway one day to see the midnight sun, awesome video. :-)

  • You're welcome!

  • Maravilloso!!!

  • I was there in July....It was quite weird to have sunshine at 3am....

  • how can you sleep? from morning to evining sun and during the night sun Oo, but the midnightsun is awasome ^^

  • Hehe, we dont sleep, we party all the summertime from end of school in June to August!;)

  • impressive pictures and great music
