cfw 4.01 & PS3 ofw 2.41 remote play onver internet

well, apparently I need to use psar dumper (the version made for 4.01, since thats what I have) to enable remote play, but im not sure how.

I cant register my psp with my ps3. When i go to register, it just tells me "no psp is connected" on the ps3. You HAVE to do this register step before any remote access is allowed.

I have CFW 4.02 m33 and ps3 v 2.42

any help would be appreciated

can you be more specific? what is the message you receive from psp or ps3? first of all have you tried to remote your ps3 locally before over internet?

ok dumb question bro.......How do you get around it demanding you to take an OFFICAL firmware update when you OBVIOUSLY dont want to.and like you I have 4.01 33-2...

I have registered it with the ps3 fine just this stops me like a gatekeeper on anything networkish the psp does.

any help is appreciated.

its not crap you must do some mistake buddy, read a bit on the net and follow the instructions. I can even remote open it.
