  • no doubt about it is samsung 22d5000 led tv. how can you lie by saying it's a 46'' tv?

  • @JigsawNexus frame synch mismatch...

  • could you please tell me what cable you used to connect your mac to the tv? was it a dvi to pc, or dvi to hdmi?

  • noob

  • Thanks

    How much ?

  • Nice video my friend. Been researching LED TV's myself and the only other video that has come close to helping was this top 10 list youtube . com/watch?v=-RMaFsqFWrM

  • si esta hermosa la pantalla, yo tengo un monitor LED de 24" para jugar PS3 y si se mira excelente.

  • What is that blinking about? 60Hz ? :)

  • I like how all this remote control and cool gadgets work for everyone, just not me, mine never works :'(

  • @godgrant123 Why dont you try asking support

  • How come you can't plug in normal headphones in these LEDs? I want to use my Logitech headset while watching tv, but it doesn't work with my Samsung LED! Help?

  • @TheNiceAnders get a headphone amp and hook up it up to your tv

  • hi i have a SAMSUNG 40" 120hrz 1080p LED TV and i would say you made a good buy even thow you say you would have done better with a 240 hrz .. it would only be a big deal if your a gammer but if you just watch blueray movies and tv your ok with 120hrz ..watch your tv for a while and then watch and old tv and you can see a big difference infact the old tv will make you squinch your eyes and you can see the big pixels cus your eyes are ajusted to the clear screen you have now

  • look at the old 3gs's screen in terms of colour reproduction. quite a difference. its comparisons like that and the nexus ones screen back in the days of the old iphone that have brought on the retina technology. it brings ips, amaizing ppi and finally great white balance. it only folters on the led backlighting not having quite the best colour reproduction. thats where samoled and its next generation seem to be focusing most

  • omg that is shit

  • check ma shit out wayy better

  • how did u get video on your usb devices i have the same tv and all i have is pictures and music do i need to update something to get video

  • its nice and all but you should have waited a bit longer for the new series range like the series 7 and up LED. Its future proof. 3D, Full HD 1080i, internet browsing (wireless) which is fast even at the minimum (1.5.mbs), easy share, download applications..and...and!! the processor which is in the tv...the hyper real engine which gives you so much more then the other samsung models and competitors. Basecally makes the image clarity much much more greater.

    I would get the series 8 :)

  • could you send me that video please!!

  • SAMSUNG always lunches with vivid picture.I love it.

  • im about to buy the 60"

  • I bought one of these today. . HOT!!!

  • I JUST BOUGHT THE SAME TV BUT THE NORMAL TV PICTURE IS NOT GOOD.....

  • you own youtube!!!

  • I've had a SAMSUNG LCD Monitor, SAMSUNG 223BW for 4 years. It's never had a dead pixel and it still works just as good as it did when purchased. What's surprising is it stays on for days continuously and still works great! The brightness can be toned done to zero because it's ultra bright!

  • The screensaver is a piece of art by Dutch artist M. C. Escher. Look his stuff up, it's awesome! :)

  • hello, nice video by the way can you tell me which is the screen saver you have the beginning of the video 0.2

  • why isnt the red light coming under where its written samsung

  • thumps up is you like the 2 girls on the screen :P

  • I would go with the 'Panasonic TX-L32D25E' a LED full HD tv

  • How many seconds does it have in response time, like when playing xbox or ps3 ?

  • MACS SUCK BALLS!

  • geek

  • @jlmood2007 very geek

  • some parts on my LG tv, made by samsung electronics!!, SAMSUNG number one

  • how do you record your PS3 gameplay on this tv?

  • we would definitely choose the samsung un55c9000 but it is not yet out in the market. the said model is 3d capable and we can say that we can give an extra wow points to it. however we are also expecting that the price of this precious television will be much higher. :( we also do article and video reviews on our site. feel free to visit us at ledtvscreens(dot)org

  • just got my Panasonic 720p 120Hz Plasma last Sept. Paid 550, sale down from 800.. and got a $60 gift card along with it, so got the wall mount for free pretty much.. my first HDTV, then I got my 24" LG for my monitor on my one and only desktop. Will probably NEVER go back to SDTV, although I don't think that you can..

  • I love my Samsung LN46B650 1080p 120hz tv, I paid $1500 and has all the same features as this television except the led backlit. Also I use it the same as chris uses it, connected mainly to the computer and ps3.

  • hw much u pay for the tv

  • annoying

  • Its MANDARK!! hahahahaha

  • Fook...

  • I bought a Samsung and it's SH*T. Everything is a yellowish / green color. They sent one of their "independant" service technicians and they said I have perfect picture. How do I have perfect peicture when skin tones look yellow and water looks green?

Moral of the story? DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG!!!

    Assholes...

  • hah

have you ever thought that your visions just fucked up!

  • @circa025 Nope. I just bought a Korean piece of shit .

  • Little high costs,

But SHARP Aquos is the best

    on the earth.

    I am sure.

  • These Tv's are great getting mine next week, 55" 8000 series

  • did u get it?

  • I have the same tv.. only i duont thinks its led, but anyways i dont think mine can do half of that crap

  • I purchased a 55 inch series 6 led samsung last year during black Friday week for $2000 @ bestbuy. LOVE IT

  • dude i got the same but my is 55 inch led tv

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !

  • have u ever owned 1 recently?

  • you are posting base on what? i guess you get paid by writing around the forums right? let me know why and were in order to understand better if is a good option or not dude.

  • Samsung 40"/ 1080p / 120Hz / LED-LCD HDTV

For $1,199.99. Picking it up this Thursday or Friday.

Hope it's as good as they say. It's going on my bedroom wall.

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !

  • I have a 32" Samsung hdtv with low end specs, but my mom got it for me so I am grateful. It's get the job done for games though. I hope in a few years from now I can get my first 'self-purchased' (is that a words?) Tv, I suppose I would go for a Samsung.

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !!

  • Hehe the picture at 3:06 is used for the wally 2.3.1 desktop wallpaper changer start up splash screen. I did not expect to see that in one of Chris's videos. Great video yet again!

  • Name of that screensaver again.

    Didn't quite catched that :P

  • @Countar99

I assume u've already gotten it. nevertheless it's called Escher or LotsaEscher screensaver.

  • @Belson20

loool, I never gotten the answer to it.

    Thanks man (:

  • @Countar99 Escher

  • @kamielftw Yea, thanks. Already got it tho. You replied after one year :P

  • @Countar99 hehe

  • i have a 52" LG TV but it has only 60hz refresh rate, its 1080p so still looks stunning in my bedroom

  • its not really a LED tv its still a LCD

(Liquid Cystal Display) yes it does have LED (Light-Emitting Diode) but all the LED does is light the screen up thats all nothing more thats why they can make it so thin cause it dont produce heat so they can put it closer to the back of the screen.what the should call it is a the Samsung LED LCD TV cause thats exacly what it is.the sreen is still LCD but the lighting is LED instead of what they use to use.

  • @tvance23 correct. However, the LED lighting does provide higher brightness and higher contrast ratio which greatly improve picture quality. I bought a samsung b630 LCD about 25 days ago. I returned it today for the LED 6000. Much better picture in terms of lighting - darker darks, brighter whites, looks way better. I paid a couple hundred more for the exchange, but not much. These LCD LED's have come down in prive a lot! Worth the extra $200 over same size normal LCD!

  • ya i know that. its a very nice picture. ive seen them at best buy. ur a right

  • @tvance23 well its just sipler to have a led tv or lcd tv for naming as it only improves size and contrast it makes all the difference. if it made only a slight diff thebn the naming would mak more sense but its just simpler for most people to say led or lcd and mean 2 completely diff tv's. cause thats what it looks like

  • Comment removed

  • does it have local dimming or is ir edge lit?

  • what is the white light flashing under the screen?

  • probably an indicator of a button push on the remote.

  • can its software be updated ?

  • yes it can.

  • @noslover11 yes, via ethernet or wireless or usb

  • I didn't think OLED was even in shops or on the assembly line yet?

  • they use it in the new zune aswell... =)

  • @pfjb123 this isn't oled. It is an LCD, but instead of having floursecent lighting it has led. It is better than normal LCD, the contrast ratio is amazing, but it isn't as good as the OLEDS are.

  • OLED must be amazing. I havent seen one in real life so i cannt say anything. but i do know that the technology is pretty new so there aint going to be a big tv with oled for awhile. only commercial oled tv available is a sony 11inch monitor. To small for me and its like 2grands. yikes.....

Led i have seen and i saw the samsung 55 inch led 240hz tv 1080p and was watching transformer blue ray of course and it was so realisitic i was shocked....

  • You shouldve showed some PS3 gameplay or a blu-ruy.

  • i thought LED tvs didnt have backlights

  • @IanJax LED is backlight OLED is true LED

  • Why wouldnt you rate 5 stars for this? He covered pretty much about everything.. great job chris. btw do you want to tell me your play station networ name?

  • I'm going to buy a sony tv 40" inch with Bravia 3 engine and it also has wigets and motion sensor and the most awesome thing Xross Media Bar for easy interface.

  • 40 inch bravias are sick :) i have one does me well .. suposivly the 36 inch looks better and anything bigger it starts getting pixel looking if ur fussy , just saying

  • I also have a Samsung LED TV, the quality is amazing and youre right the picture is so smooth!

  • wait, you dont have ad block plus?

  • un46b7100 witch is the 7000 series but he 7100 has the 8000 color and is a bestbuy exclusive

  • I just watched the video and this is for sure the un46b7100 witch is the 7000 series but he 7100 has the 8000 color and is a bestbuy exclusive

  • i have the sony xbr8 55 inch it cost me 12 thousand wiht stand

  • i would get a bravia...

cause i am such the sony fanboy XD

  • I would go with a sony

  • All very nice, from what ive heard their lifetime sucks tough.... ;)

  • i have this. its awesom connected to 360 elite playing mw 2 stunning graphics

  • the TV won't affect graphics. only picture quality/sharpness

  • idiot, you didnt say the model xDD

  • yes you should have gotten the 240

  • samsung C9000 is just too good

  • Bought the same one yesterday.

    Perfect picture quality.

  • i have the 8000 series, very nice, looks and sounds amazing with the blu-ray player

  • Mmm... LED...

  • I have this myself I thing it was the best investont ever.

  • chris has a ps3???

  • @TkMToM1993 No he got a Xbox 360 and a Dream Arcade.

  • @RobinMoviesOffical watch the vid and u will see he has a ps3...

  • Awesome! I will treat my self and pick mines up this weekend

  • My Parents just got this TV for their living room.

  • Oh and one interesting thing that I found was the video rendering (like playing mkv files) off usb uses the open source ffmpeg package!

  • what was the ipod/iphone app

  • I have the 6000 series which has less of the internet stuff, but looks just as good as the 7000. But the 8000 series is an even nicer display (if you can afford it)

  • have it...awesome

  • I wish i cud afford this...

  • I rofl'd at 0:10

  • LINK THE SCREEN SAVER

  • I LOVE that TV...It's amazing as far the quality goes...The PS3 and Xbox 360 works perfect on it.

4 HDMI ports is AMAZING. If you consider buying a good TV, This is a good choice

  • Just saw a plasma TV in my store at 500 Hz..

  • Nice TV :D

  • Have the same TV. :)

  • soon the OLED will be the new Monitors in about 2 years or so.. maybe more..but there are models in japan available right now

  • I have that TV too!

    Samsung 46" LED 1080

    ultra slim (3cm)

it works perfect with game console (ps3) and good sound!

  • Aren't the LED TVs just LCD with LED Back light?

  • yup

  • @pfjb123 Yup.

  • @pfjb123

Nope. There's some really small organic LED lights.

That's why it doesn't need any back light and so they are so darn thin.

You can also bend those OLED screens without breaking them. ;)

  • this isn't a OLED TV though, so it is actually a LCD TV with LED backlights as others have mentioned

  • great video chris i am thinking of getting a LED TV too to replace my LCD and yea i was looking at Samsung and Sony for new tvs but the Samsung look pretty cool due to those extra things that the TV has

  • This is amazing. Technology has advanced so much in the past 10 years

  • See, my question is, what happened to regular good old boob tube? Yes the features are cool and all but the functionality of most HD Tv's are somewhat more then I would want. The only thing I would use my Tv for would be to watch tv or play dvd/blu ray ect. and to watch regular Tv. Why would I want my tv to connect to the internet and all of that jazz when it is a Tv??? Just thought I'd share my thoughts.

  • My parents have this telly

  • Lol you wouldnt be sued if you put TV on your youtube video unless it was a full episode, for that would just be classified as advertiseing and or a sneak peak. Plus, ive put copywrited crap on youtube and just said I was advertising, they didnt care.

  • the quality of the tv is awesome... friend owns one (Y)

  • Sony,LG and Samsung HDTV..............FTW

  • My parents just brought the samsung 50 Inch plasma 1080p for £600 and that is awesome, so I can imagine what the quality of that is like.

  • I can see the sensor bar for the Wii! I can see the infared dots!

  • i have panasonic plasma... and i am happy with it....

  • Samsung's are the best for LCD/LED, picture looks way better even better then the overpriced Sony xbr series, samsung has wayyyyy more options for cheeper, 240hz look much better also, looks natural

  • Too much Flicker on this tv XD I don't like it!

  • @Edsan91 My choice of HDTV will always be sony! they are probably the most expensive HD I think! The best of the best can cost $20,000 Dollars. Im quite happy with a Sony Bravia 46' LCD HDTV! Its the best ever! When you buy a sony product you will get years and years of Great Quality!. I bet some of us still have sony radios, Sony Cd players and older sony Crt tvs! And most of them still work perfectly! I can't wait until sony lowers their LED Tv's Prices! Its gonna be great!

  • @Edsan91 But samsung on the other Hand Is a GREAT MANUFACTURER! Sony because of the amazing Quality they give and Samsung because of the amazing Prices! and similar quality to Sony. But what I find weird on this LED tv is the Flicker. Most LCD tvs and monitors don't Have flicker. Idk

  • You do realize that Sony use samsung panels in there tv's so that extra you pay is pretty much just name. Sure sony design the case and GUI but personaly I like samsungs designs and GUI better.

Once I have payed my car off I think it's time for a 40+ inch HDTV. I have a samsung 32" 720p that I got when full HD was still over $5000. But I mite just get a bigger turbo and 18's instead.

  • @Edsan91 , Thats the the camera. It's picking up the refresh. Sooo yeah the TV will look fine and you wont be able to see it with the naked eye

  • @Degen223 Um then why doesn't that flicker show on my tv? Or my monitors?

  • @Edsan91 it uses LEDs that flicker. also happens with CRT screens.

  • @Degen223 But its problably Chris Pirillo's Cam not keeping up with the refresh since it he is running it in 120hz.

  • Correct.

  • @Edsan91 Too much stupid people on youtube XD I dont like it! ...

  • @HazakyProductions Is that an insult? Because if it is I agree there is too much stupid people not on youtube, On this Earth.

  • OK I'm sold!!! This more than likely be my next purchase! BTW that is waaay too much functionality for a TV!!

  • holy crap, look at that contrast.

  • flash is caused by refresh rate

  • omg i got the same 1 but 52 inch

  • for such a goo screen it flashes like shit. how can you use it like that

  • @ertai222 This only happens when you are recording, hold up a digital camera to a TV and you will see it too.

  • @blink1420 I tried it on my LCD tvs and no flicker what so ever when recording.

  • dude 3D tv's the way of the future!! LED TVs will loose their value quickly, they shouldn't be purchased...

  • I Got a Sony's 40" XBR9 1080p/240hz for $999 on Black Friday and its not an LED yet it looks so much better than some LED's that I've seen on the market

I honestly dont see myself buying another TV until the 2K HDTV's with 3D come out.

  • Ya bro XBRs are beautiful. I have the XBR model before yours and it's better looking than most TVs still coming out lol

  • i still have a 36" crt tv that weights like a gazillion pounds.

  • Whats you PSN?

  • I have a 26" Sony Bravia in my room and an 82" 1080p Mitsubishi in my living room. Have both connected to a computer

  • nice i got a 2003 1080i 65" mitsubishi

  • Why does it have the Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) line refreshing across the screen? D:

Does it rely on exciting the electrons differently than an LCD?

Or does an LCD function the same way like an LED and CRT?

  • Hey maybe you should have researched this tv a little more...The LED tvs burn out 2x or 3x faster than lcd so.ya 6-8 years....

  • @GoodtimesXD maybe you should do your research.. LED is the light source, they are both LCD. Older LCD tv's are florescent bulbs.

  • @GoodtimesXD led will burn a hell alot longer than lcd
