man, this is a bitch to pull off, i think ive only been able to do it once since i got the game. but im about to try it again right now. btw, a little off topic, but can anyone tell me whether or not an HD tv with HDMI cables makes a big difference to the game? im currently playing it on a standard tv and i feel like im missing out on a whole lot. so can someone tell me if theres a significant difference?

Hey, if i finished the game on hard and then want to use chapter select to get my missing trophies like this one and treasure master, can i overwrite the same game file without losing anything? or do i need to create a new file or what?

@Viizo19 You can overwrite it. I suggest having 2 or 3 different files though in case you get a corrupt file. Never experienced it myself, but doesn't hurt to be safe.

slowly count 1 (press square), 2 (press triangle), 3 (press square)

once you figured it out, it's easy

@theriz15 You can definitely play Uncharted 2 without the first. Both stories stand on their own. I do recommend to play the first one first though. It's a great game, and you will know the characters better in the second one.

I'm having a hard time killing guys with melee in this game. Do you need to press Sqaure + Triangle at the same time? Then wait a second and then press Square again? I always fail at melee.

a tip is to go to chapter 3, when you run from the u-boat there is a guy that you can't fail the combo on. kill him, jump down the cliff to die, repeat!

I finally got it! you just have to find out the right speed. and I thought it was easier to do on normal mode! just another hint kill the first 2 guys that come on. then when the next comes the first guy u punch it goes in slow mo for a brutal combo tutoiral. Then it counts as one. die on purpose and kill that same guy with the tutoiral 4 more times and u got it!

You need to beat the game on Hard without changing difficulty throughout to get crushing. Sorry if someone already said this.

Also why do people need a guide for this its like the most simple thing to understand ever. Kill 5 enemies with headshots XD yet people need a guide in order to do it? Always aim for head in games its 100% guaranteed to do most damage pretty much shouldnt even have to think about it, instinctively aim for head

i got platinum today... if you manage your ammo, and program your attacks and attack paths you should do fine... AI is the same as hard, but you take more damage and the npc's don't miss a single shot.. ohhh yes.. and the "free" weapons and ammo are not available.. like in hard mode.. you have to manage your ammo and weapons... :)

You can go straight to hard if you want. The difficulty trophies stack.

The only hard bits will be finishing the game on hard and crushing modes. i'm going to get all the trophies before i start hard and crushing tho.

You can die between brutal combos. what i did i went onto chapter 1, and when it teaches yu how to do the brutal combo (step by step) i just kept doing it, then dying, and repeating until i had done it 5 times in a row!

i do the first combo then fail the 2nd, then after that i do some then for some reason it only hits once or i hit once and they hit me back. and if that happens u cant do brutal as theyre injured

How do you get the trophy download. Stupid question i know but im really not sure. Is that just when you start the game and says there is an update?

It should happen automaticly. After booting up the game, just go to trophy collection in the ps3 menu and check if Uncharted is listed there. If it is, then you have the trophypatch. You can't use your old saves, so I suggest deleting those. Saving over an old file might prevent you to get trophies.

Have you downloaded the trophy update? If you haven't then you can't get trophies.

I have trouble doing this but in the end i found out an easy way of doing it!, hold them until he hits. hit him with square, hold triangle until he hits then hold square until he hits again. hope it works

If you haven't done Brutal Brawler before going for Brutal Expert, you will automaticly get it. Brawler means kill 5 enemies with a brutal combo. Expert means kill 5 enemies in a row with brutal combo.

I assume you have downloaded the patch, which should be done if you start this game when youre online. Then it might be that you play on a save that has been created before the patch. I would delete all saves and start again with a brand new save.

In games that have Platinumtrophies, you need to get all the bronze, silver and goldmedals to get it.
