judging that MGS Peace Walker came out before, but is an older time line plot, i would say that peace walker is 5, but thats my opinion, teh true sequel is Rising. thus, thats what i believe.

@VideogameExpert2 lol Dude Peace Walker is the true 5, Kojima's words. How can you even say Rising is the true 5, you saw it's gameplay. It's another canon addition to the game, but not really 5. Peace Walker is everything MGS5 should be.

@VideogameExpert2 if there was an mgs 5 it would haave to be really short (judging by the mgs4 ending).
unless it would be like the cross (or bridge) between mgs2-4. if hideo keeps this up it'll be just as confusing as the zelda timeline. but no matter what, theyll still be incredible games.
