You can be friends with girls, but there is almost always tension.

Maybe you have a girl friend that you somehow arent attracted to, but then i feel bad for you unless shes ugly but has enough of your interests for you to get past that.

Its biological that guys are attracted to girls, period.

I do avoid becoming friends with some girls because of that tension, and have been friends with girls I dont have much attraction to.

But its a tough issue.

I used to think "it's impossible to be friends with a woman because of sexual tension" and whatever. Then I grew up, met intelligent, independent women who are better conversationalists than most men, and whom I was not attracted to (and they not attracted to me), and now they are some of my best friends.

Also, I am just friends with all my exes.

So, for a woman and a man to be a friend there has to be common interest and lack of physical attraction OR previous sex which ended.

It's not that they are unattractive (my colleagues) and if it came accross that way I apologize to them. They are intelligent and most people would find them attractive (one looks like Fey and another like Millie Corretier, feel free to google their pictures [ they're latino music performers]) but I'm more of a Beyonce Jessica Alba kind of guy. That's why I don't find them attractive.
